    Abstract: The present invention provides a cord controller to be mounted on a top rail of a window covering. The cord controller includes a base, a cord controlling device, and a cord regulating device. The base has a chamber therein and an inlet and an outlet on opposite sides of the chamber, and the cord controlling device and the cord regulating device are received in the chamber. The cord controlling device has a gap between the inlet and the outlet for the cord to pass through. The cord regulating device is adjacent to the outlet and has cord pressing bar to form a passageway between the cord pressing bar and the base for the cord to pass through. Therefore, the cord controller may avoid the cords twisting and keep a smooth movement of the cords.

    Abstract: A cord release for a window covering includes at least two cases engaged together to form a barrel with an opening at a top thereof. The cord release is defined with a frontal plane and a sagittal plane. A left side and a right side are defined at opposite sides of the sagittal plane, and a front side and a back side are defined at opposite sides of the frontal plane. The opening has a first collecting portion at the front side of the frontal plane and the right side of the sagittal plane, and a second collecting portion at the back side of the frontal plane and the left side of the sagittal plane. Therefore, the cords will be led to the first collecting portion and the second collecting portion to disengage the cases by the struggle force.

The fixed locking portion provides the box fixing to the top rail with a strong strength, and the flexible locking portion provides an easy way to mount the box on the top rail.

    Abstract: An operating wand has a handle, an upper rod connected by an intermediate rod having one end pivotably attached to the upper end of the handle and the opposite end pivotably attached to the lower end of the upper rod. A sleeve slides along the upper rod between a first position and a second position. When in the first position the sleeve covers a portion of the upper rod, the handle, and the intermediate rod, keeping the handle, intermediate rod and upper rod in a co-linear alignment. When the sleeve is in the second position, the handle and intermediate rod are fully exposed allowing the intermediate rod to be moved relative to the handle and the upper rod so that the intermediate rod is normal to the handle and normal to the upper rod. With the sleeve in the second position the wand can be operated like a crank.

The pulley block is connected to a lift cord wound through a first positioning element, so as to control the opening and closing of a blind body. The other end of the retrieving cord is fastened either on the head rail, the movable seat, a second positioning element, or an end cap. The structure of the second positioning element is resembled to the first positioning element. By taking one end of the retrieving cord as a pivot, the movable seat moves laterally therealong the head rail by a restoring force generated through the torsion spring.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a secure lock for a lift cord of a window blind or shade, which includes a head rail, a bottom rail and a shading unit combined between the head rail and the bottom rail. The shading unit has plural connecting members respectively engaging with an annular secure lock, except the connecting member positioned closest to the bottom rail engaging with a cap-shaped secure lock instead. A lift cord is strung in the annular secure locks, with the end fastened with the cap-shaped secure lock. An opening is formed in a ring of the annular secure locks and a groove formed in a curved portion of the cap-shaped secure lock. Thus, the lift cord can be released if an object is accidentally trapped between the lift cord and the shading unit, achieving a secure effect.

The knurled roller is positioned near the top of the engaging block and a gap is formed therebetween, such that the knurled roller is frictionally locked with or released from the cords when the panel structure moves vertically downward or upward.
