  • Patent number: 8471801
Abstract: An exemplary driving method of a display panel with half-source-driving structure is provided. The display panel includes at least one pixel each using a capacitor to store a voltage. A terminal of the capacitor is adapted to receive a display data inputted from a data line, and another terminal of the capacitor is electrically coupled to a common electrode. The driving method includes: obtaining a direct current power signal; coupling an alternating current signal with the direct current power signal to generate a common electrode driving signal; and applying the common electrode driving signal to the common electrode. A rising time of a rising edge and a falling time of a falling edge of the common electrode driving signal are modified to improve a V-line mura phenomenon of the display panel.

  • Publication number: 20090002614
Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel includes a first substrate, a first electrode, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first electrode is disposed on the first substrate. The first electrode has a main slit, a first sub-slit and a first pinhole. The first sub-slit is connected to the main slit and the first pinhole is separated from the main slit. The second substrate is disposed over the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.

  • Patent number: 7361218
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for fabricating a crystal fiber having different regions of polarization inversion, comprising the following steps: (a) providing a source material; (b) putting the source material into a fabricating apparatus; and (c) forming the crystal fiber from the source material, and applying an external electric field on the grown crystal fiber during the growth procedure of the crystal fiber so as to induce micro-swing of the crystal fiber for polarization inversion, whereby poling at the time a ferroelectric crystalline body is being formed, whereas the conventional methods are designed for poling a ferroelectric crystalline body after it has been formed.
