Abstract: A foldable electronic device including a first frame, a second frame, a first connecting rod, and a second connecting rod is provided. The first connecting rod has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end and the second end are respectively pivoted on one side of the first frame and the second frame. The second connecting rod has a third end and a fourth end, wherein the third end and the fourth end are respectively pivoted on the other side of the first frame and the second frame. The first connecting rod is suitable for rotating along a first axle, and the second connecting rod is suitable for rotating along a second axle, wherein the first axle is not coaxial with the second axle.

Abstract: A TV system capable of recording a multimedia audiovisual program is provided, which comprises a first TV apparatus for receiving a TV audiovisual signal and displaying a corresponding audiovisual program; and a portable second TV apparatus with a built-in storage unit, which is electrically connected to the first TV apparatus and receives a record actuating signal in order to synchronically record the audiovisual program to the storage unit. A user watches the audiovisual program through the second TV apparatus when the second TV apparatus is separated from the first TV apparatus, thereby enhancing the convenience of using the TV apparatus.

Abstract: A wireless transmission system suitable for a large space and a method thereof are provided, which are applied to a wide space having a main power switch connected with power lines. Each of the power lines is respectively connected to a power outlet. A wireless base station is disposed beside the main power switch, and its required power is supplied by the main power switch. A signal line is respectively disposed along each power line, wherein one end of each signal line is connected to the wireless base station while the other end is connected to a wireless signal antenna. Each of the wireless signal antennas is respectively mounted on the corresponding power outlet. When wireless signals are sent from the wireless base station, they are transmitted via signal lines to anywhere in the wide space, and then sent out via the antennas to be received by mobile communication devices.

Abstract: A method for managing net data of a layout is provided. The method comprises first establishing a net data classification index list in which a net name corresponds to a sub group; comparing a newly added net name with the net data classification index list; classifying the newly added net name to a designated sub group when the newly added net name does not exist in the net data classification index list; establishing an association between the newly added net name and the sub group; and storing the association corresponding to the net name and the sub group in the net data classification index list. Thus the efficiency for managing and utilizing the net data is improved.

Abstract: A voice-controlled TV set comprises a storage device, a voice controller, and a processor. The storage device is used to store a plurality of application programs, which is utilized to execute the various functions of the TV set; the voice controller is used to receive the voice of the user, and compare said voice with more than one voice instruction and then output a control code. Finally, the processor is used to execute the application program corresponding to the control code, so that the voice-controlled TV set is able to perform various functions according to the voice instructions given by the user.

Abstract: A method for facilitating the power/ground wiring in layout is provided, which comprises searching more than one power line or more than one ground line according to the key words of the line names; specifying the power lines correspond to a power layer or the ground lines correspond to a ground layer; setting the power layer or the ground layer to be a line layer to be wired; selecting the line layer to be wired; and indicating the corresponding power lines of the power layer or the corresponding ground lines of the ground layer with special indication effects according to the line layer to be wired, thereby avoiding neglect.

Abstract: A method for verifying line information in a layout and system thereof are provided. The verification method comprises obtaining and arranging a line data to classify the types of the line data; generating a corresponding line information record file after the line data is classified; sending a message appended with the line information record file to a user; confirming the types of the line data once again according to the line information record file by the user; directly modifying the line information record file by the user when it has been confirmed that the line data is wrong; and importing the modified line information record file into the line information database, so as to update the data in the line information database, thereby improving the accuracy of data.

Abstract: A method for quick naming graphics with the same properties comprises the following steps: selecting a plurality of graphics with the same properties from an operation window, then defining an object name and adding auxiliary symbols behind the object name by using the increment rule to generate a plurality of object names containing the sequentially corresponding auxiliary symbols; and marking the object names containing the respective auxiliary symbols on the respective graphics sequentially and correspondingly. Users may repeat the above steps to continuously select another object name, thereby achieving the quick naming of the graphics.

Abstract: A method for indicating differential signal lines in a layout is provided, which comprises searching line groups having similar line names at first; dividing the line groups into a first line and a second line; confirming that the first and second lines are connected to a same circuit element; highlighting the first and second lines, thereby eliminating the trouble in searching differential signal lines.

Abstract: A circuit layout system for automatically indicating items to wait for modified and method thereof are provided, wherein a set of items to wait for modified recorded on an amendment list is stored on the circuit layout software; the set of items to wait for modified is compared with the circuit diagram via the circuit layout software to indicate to the user the number of items to wait for modified; parts that need to be modified are indicated to the user during modification, such that automatic indication of the items to wait for modified can be achieved, thus avoiding the circumstance that some items to wait for modified are not modified completely due to the negligence of the user.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an universal module for testing functions of communication ports of a computer, including both parallel port and serial port. The module includes a logic control unit and connects to a communication port (a serial or a parallel port) for testing the open or short conditions of the ports through walk 1? and a walk 0? logic tests. The testing module not only can check the open condition of a parallel port, but also can check the open and short conditions of a parallel port and a serial port.

Abstract: A vibrator, applicable to a cell-phone or a pager for providing vibration in different directions to signal incoming messages. The vibrator includes a housing and an eccentric cam. The cam is capable of rotating around an axle to provide vibration along a horizontal plane perpendicular to the axle. In the first embodiment of the invention, an engaging structure (like a trail around the axis with different attitude with respect to the horizontal plane) is installed on the housing such that the cam is engaged to move up and down along the axle to provide vibration along an axial direction. In the second embodiment of the invention, at least a vibrating body, capable of sliding along the axial direction, is installed on the housing, such that when the cam rotates, the vibrating body is engaged to move up and down to provide vibration along the axis.

Abstract: A flip mobile phone includes a main body, a cover and a conducting device having a turning portion. The main body has a first pivot portion, and the cover has a second pivot portion. The second pivot portion is coupled with the first pivot portion so that the cover is able to rotate with respect to the main body. In the interior of the first pivot portion and the second pivot portion, there is a hollow portion used for receiving the conducting device which electrically connects the main body and the cover. The conducting device has a transiting component which is equipped on the turning portion, and has a first wire end and a second wire end which is connected to the main body and the cover respectively. The first wire end and the second wire end are electrically connected to the transiting component respectively.

Abstract: A method of testing a plurality of registers in a RAMDAC, each of the registers having a plurality of bits. First, the bits of the registers are all reset to a first logic state. Then, one logic pattern is written to the registers so as to convert one bit of one of the registers into a second logic state and immediately read out. If the read logic pattern differs from the written logic pattern, an error message will be prompted. The steps are repeated until the testing of each of the bits of the registers is completed.

Abstract: A method for testing n data pins of a parallel communication port. It includes the main steps of: (a) selecting an address to access a memory unit; (b) selecting a data pin to be tested and a testing data, wherein the testing data is a binary code consisting of (n—1) of first binary digits at data pins other than the data pin being selected and a second binary digit at the data pin being selected, the first binary digit being different from the second binary digit; (c) writing the testing data into the memory unit through all the data pins; (d) reading a stored data from the memory unit also through all the data pins; and (e) comparing the testing data with the stored data to diagnose the data pins, then storing the result into computer memory.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for testing the communication performance of the pins of a serial port. It reads the states of several group of pins to check the existence of the port and the correctness of communication address. Moreover, it checks the working condition of the pins with interruption signals in order to prove the function and communication quality of the serial port.
