  • Publication number: 20240120317
Abstract: A fan-out semiconductor device includes stacked semiconductor dies having die bond pads arranged in columns exposed at a sidewall of the stacked semiconductor dies. The stacked dies are encapsulated in a photo imageable dielectric (PID) material, which is developed to form through-hole cavities that expose the columns of bond pads of each die at the sidewall. The through-hole cavities are plated or filled with an electrical conductor to form conductive through-holes coupling die bond pads within the columns to each other.

  • Publication number: 20140218945
Abstract: A traveling direction assistance guidance system mounted on a vehicle which compromising at least a light source, a sensing module for sensing the vehicle traveling direction and a light control apparatus. Based on the vehicle traveling direction sensed by the sensing module and other external control signals, the light control apparatus adjusts the light beams of the light source as the light beams associated with the vehicle traveling directions. When the vehicle travels straight, the light beam is adjusted as a straight line guide light beam. When the vehicle turns, the light beam is adjusted as a curved guide light beam, and the direction and curve of the guide light beams changes over the rotational angle of the steering wheel. Hence, allows the driver to know the expected traveling trajectories when the vehicle is traveling straight or turning, and thus effectively protecting the driving safety.

  • Patent number: 6163415
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for loading and unloading a flying lens relative to the surface of an optical storage media is provided. The apparatus is comprises a flying lens, a movable optical module for supporting and positioning the lens, and a ramp that slidably engages the movable optical module to load and unload the flying lens. The flying lens is loaded, or moved into a position close to the surface of the moving optical storage media, when the speed is sufficient that aerodynamic forces prevent contact between the flying lens and the storage media. The flying lens is unloaded before the storage media slows or stops and is held in a parked position by the ramp. During the loading and unloading the alignment integrity of the optical path is maintained.

  • Patent number: 6064529
Abstract: An optical access device for a moving optical data storage media having a flying lens near an outer surface of the media, and an objective lens spaced from the flying lens, with the flying lens and objective lens co-operating to substantially offset a variable range of negative spherical aberration occurring in the media by forming a positive spherical aberration which substantially cancels the negative spherical aberration.

  • Patent number: 5155640
Abstract: The present invention is a disk spindle motor cap. By affixing the cap to the cylindrical shaft of a disk drive, the amount of magnetic ferrofluid escaping from the well between the hub and the cylindrical shaft of the disk spindle assembly is reduced.
