Abstract: A phased array transmitter includes a plurality of signal couplers arranged to receive a radio frequency (RF) input signal, and a plurality of RF transmitters coupled to the signal couplers. Each RF transmitter includes a radiating element, a chip and a phase shifting circuit. The radiating element is arranged to receive a plurality of electrical signals to produce an RF output signal. An amplifier circuit of the chip is configured to amplify the RF input signal to generate a plurality of amplified signals at a plurality of output terminals, respectively. The phase shifting circuit is located outside the chip, and coupled to the output terminals and the radiating element. The phase shifting circuit is arranged to phase shift the amplified signals, and accordingly generate the electrical signals fed to the radiating element. Respective phase shifting circuits and respective radiating elements of the RF transmitters are formed on a same substrate.

Abstract: Provided is a business model based on multi-level application widgets and a system thereof, including: embedding, by a server, intended application widgets in an Internet platform equipped with a software application programming interface; providing a business protocol between an end user and the server, thus giving the end user authority to embed data sets in the application widgets and to conduct display, operation, sales, and real-time interaction within the same window; determining, by the end users, whether at least an application widget or a data set is to be embedded in each of the data sets again, so as to finalize the multi-level application widgets. Accordingly, the end user enhances promotion and thereby expands business on the Internet platform at the server.

Abstract: An automatic advertisement system creates and processes a digital image that includes a user's digital photograph and advertisement images from selected advertisers. The new composed images are larger than the standard photographs in size (e.g., 4?×6?, 5?×7?) to allow the user's photograph to be in the standard size and to allow space for the advertisement images. The system provides a criteria specification tool to allow advertisers to accurately specify their target audiences based on, e.g., zip code, age, education. The system also provides a criteria specification tool to allow the user to specify his/her preferences of advertisement on his/her digital photograph production. The system further provides various layouts to prevent the user from clipping out advertisement images all at once. The system further allows advertisers to track their advertising results and allows the user to maintain his/her privacy.
