Abstract: A method includes forming Magnetic Tunnel Junction (MTJ) stack layers, which includes depositing a bottom electrode layer; depositing a bottom magnetic electrode layer over the bottom electrode layer; depositing a tunnel barrier layer over the bottom magnetic electrode layer; depositing a top magnetic electrode layer over the tunnel barrier layer; and depositing a top electrode layer over the top magnetic electrode layer. The method further includes patterning the MTJ stack layers to form a MTJ; and performing a passivation process on a sidewall of the MTJ to form a protection layer. The passivation process includes reacting sidewall surface portions of the MTJ with a process gas comprising elements selected from the group consisting of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and combinations thereof.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a structure of notebook computer comprising a display assembly having a LCD (liquid crystal display) fitted on its front surface, an internal motherboard coupled to the LCD and a computer case having a power supply assembly and an input/output (I/O) interface, wherein the power supply assembly is electrically coupled to the motherboard by means of a power cord for supplying a rated power to the motherboard, and the I/O interface is coupled to the motherboard by means of a data cable, thereby reserving more interior space of the computer case for installing other electronic devices, reducing thickness of the computer case, and making the computer case more expandable.

Abstract: A fragrance generation device for information products is described. A receiving space is formed at the bottom of a disk body to receive a fragrance sheet like a sponge so that a fragrance can be successfully emitted by the activity of a device such as a heat-radiating fan inside an information product like a computer, a PDA or an electric appliance. Foul smells like scorching can thus be masked when the information product operates. Moreover, the effect of aromatherapy can be accomplished simultaneously.

Abstract: A notebook computer whose base unit's top face allows direct visibility of the rotating device including a base unit, which comprises a base unit's top face and a rotating device, is provided. Of which, the base unit's top face has a transparent window and the rotating device is situated inside the base unit and beneath the transparent window. A notebook's base unit according to the invention is designed to have a transparent window through which the user can directly check the rotating device and assures whether the rotating device is under normal operation or not.

Abstract: A notebook computer with folding speaker device comprises a base unit, a covering board and a speaker device. The covering board is connected to the base unit in a folding way with the speaker device being connected to one side of the covering board in a folding way. The speaker can even be connected to one side of the covering board in a detachable way. Of which, the speaker device can be installed at the two corresponding sides of the covering board. The speaker device according to the design of the invention is movable and can be folded to the two sides of the covering board. The speakers can also be folded to the top of the covering board or the two sides of the base unit which is indeed very convenient.

Abstract: A notebook computer comprising a base unit and a display, wherein the display is detachable from the base unit, and can close to and open from the base unit when jointed together is provided. Of which, the display comprises a display panel, a motherboard, a microprocessor and a telecommunication device, wherein the motherboard on which the microprocessor is situated is electrically connected to the display panel while the telecommunication device is electrically connected to the motherboard. The design of the display according to the invention can be attached to and detached from the motherboard, or even can be separated from the notebook computer to be used as an independent web pad providing two uses in an appliance which is indeed convenient to operate.

Abstract: A wireless remote control device for notebook computers with the design of a touch pad and a glide pad is provided. On one hand, the user is allowed to control the power switch of the notebook computer providing security protection for the notebook computer by means of the touch pad; while on the other hand, the user can control the display panel pointer of the notebook computer by means of the glide pad facilitating convenience of operation.

Abstract: A notebook computer with multi-purpose hot keys comprising a platform inside which a motherboard is situated and a covering board on which a screen is situated is provided. A fast select program is stored in the motherboard. A set of multi-purpose hot keys including a number of select keys and an Enter key is situated on the platform besides an ordinary input keyboard. The hot keys can open a fast select application program and have a fast select menu displayed on the screen, wherein the select key selects and the Enter key executes the selected item. The hot keys can further cooperate with the screen brightness adjustment program, volume adjustment program, color contrast adjustment program and the suspend function so as to adjust the intensity of screen brightness, loudness of volume, ratio of color contrast and bring the computer systems into suspend status respectively.
