    Abstract: The primary circuit and the secondary circuit are electrically insulated from each other by the transformer so as to operate at different reference potentials. The primary coil has a first end which is driven by an input signal. The primary coil has a second end which is driven by an output signal of the delay element. An induced voltage of the secondary coil is input to the retention element, which, in turn, switches and retains a value of the output signal, based on the induced voltage of the secondary coil.
