In some examples, a method includes obtaining, from a mobile device, a 3D point cloud of a sidewalk section, wherein the sidewalk section includes at least one slab joint; converting the 3D point cloud into one or more elevation images; segmenting, using a machine learning model, the slab joint from the elevation images; determining, based on the segmenting, a vertical displacement of the slab joint; and identifying a potential trip hazard based on the vertical displacement.

    Abstract: A PMSM sensorless composite control method with dual sliding-mode observers is provided. In particular, two sliding-mode observers are designed, one provides an exponential piecewise sliding-mode function for observation of back electromotive force, and the other sliding-mode observer is for observation of load torque and fine-tuning parameters of a piecewise PI controller while introducing an estimated load torque onto a q-axis for feedforward compensation. A q-axis current inner loop is designed with a second-order sliding-mode controller, which can improve tracking performance of q-axis current and indirectly control an electromagnetic torque. The exponential piecewise sliding-mode function is more conductive to the observation of back electromotive force and can weaken the buffeting phenomenon. The sliding-mode observer for observing the load torque fine-tunes parameters of the piecewise PI controller while performing the feedforward compensation, the load capability of the system is improved.

    Abstract: A method for video uploading and an electronic device are disclosed. The method includes: storing attribute information and a selection path of a video during its uploading process, and assigning an identification (ID) number to the video selection path; if the uploading fails, labeling the video with “failure”, and generating feedback of uploading failure and a re-uploading indication; based on a received request for re-uploading the video, searching for ID numbers of videos with “failure” labels as well as attribute information and selection paths of the videos with the “failure” labels based on the retrieved ID numbers; and re-uploading the videos based on the retrieved attribute information and selection paths of the videos. The method includes receiving videos to be examined; transmitting the videos to be examined to player for playing and examination; transcoding videos passing examinations; uploading transcoded videos to video display platform. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the videos to be examined may first be examined, only those videos passing examinations can be transcoded, and then the transcoded videos can be uploaded to the video display platform.
