Abstract: A user interface (UI) rendering and operating method is implemented by a processor with a deployment file, and comprises configuring the processor to implement a parent procedure for: parsing the deployment file so as to obtain UI rendering data that defines a visual design of the UI, feature provider data that defines a procedure providing a feature linked to a generated element of the UI, feature identification data that defines an identification corresponding to the feature, and element rendering data that defines a visual design of the element; binding the feature provider data and the feature identification data to the element; rendering the UI and the element with reference to the UI rendering data and the element rendering data.

Abstract: A multimedia codec device includes a codec bridge, a source filter, a transformation filter and a rendering filter. The codec bridge is a plug-in of a first multimedia interface. The source filter, the transformation filter and the rendering filter are disposed in a second multimedia interface. The codec bridge sends a first multimedia data to the second multimedia interface. The source filter receives the first multimedia data. The transformation filter transforms the first multimedia data into a second multimedia data according to a codec package compatible with the second multimedia interface. Therefore, the second multimedia data can be compatible with the first multimedia interface. The rendering filter outputs the second multimedia data to the codec bridge.

Abstract: A method capable of enhancing website compatibility includes receiving a command for browsing a first website stored in a website server through a website browser, receiving a first program code of the first website according to the command, determining whether the first program code is capable of being interpreted by the website browser, so as to generate a determination result, transforming the first program code according to the determination result, and outputting a transformation result of the first program code to the website browser.

Abstract: A method for automated schedule control is disclosed. When a schedule appointment process is performed, an open services gateway initiative framework of an electronic device performs an automatic schedule control operation, detecting whether an execution for a schedule is required. If required, it is determined whether the schedule is an update operation. If so, a start or stop operation for a bundle corresponding to the schedule is performed. If not, the electronic device connects to a remote database at a preset time to determine whether a new manifest for the bundle corresponding to the schedule is detected. If detected, the new manifest is retrieved from the remote database and the bundle is accordingly updated thereto.
