    Abstract: A navigation device capable of adding paths to a navigation plan independently is disclosed. The navigation device includes a global positioning module, a dynamic path-adding module, and a navigation module. The global positioning module receives road track coordinates signals of new paths to be created. The dynamic path-adding module creates new path data corresponding to the new paths in accordance with the road track coordinates signals of the new paths, determines added paths, and creates added path data corresponding to the added paths. The navigation module plans at least a navigation route in accordance with a map database, the new path data, and the added path data.

The first housing part has an upper end and a lower end mounted immovably on the top side of the base portion. The monitor stand further includes an interlocking unit provided on the first and second housing parts for retaining removably the second housing part on the first housing part. The liquid crystal display module includes a display housing mounted on the upper end of the first housing part. The display housing is formed with a connector mounting cavity that has an open rear side and an open bottom side. The cavity has an electrical connector unit mounted therein. The connector unit is adapted to mate with an electrical cable unit.
