Abstract: An air shroud is provided to direct air flow in an information handling system. The air shroud includes a first portion, a second portion, and an adjustable portion. The first portion directs the air flow through dual-inline memory modules of the information handling system. The second portion directs the air flow through a processor stack of the information handling system. The adjustable portion is coupled between the first portion and the second portion, and is configured to be adjusted to a first length when the information handling system is in a 1U enclosure, and to be adjusted to a second length when the information handling system is in a 2U enclosure.

The liquid cooling system has a manifold collecting and supplying coolant to a cold plate via inlet and outlet tubes. The cold plate is mounted over a heat-generating component on a circuit board. The structure includes a drip tray having a top surface and a length approximately the distance between the manifold and the cold plate. The drip tray includes a trough for collection of leaking coolant. The tray is inserted between the circuit board and the inlet and outlet tubes.

To mitigate some risk associated with heating, the data processing system may proactively calibrate temperature sensors used to guide the heating process.
