Patent number: 9525367Abstract: A fan motor braking apparatus and a method of controlling the same provide a braking protection before the fan motor revolves. The fan motor braking apparatus includes a conversion circuit, a braking enable circuit, a braking release circuit, and a fan motor startup circuit. The conversion circuit has a plurality of power switch elements electrically connected to the fan motor. The braking enable circuit is connected to the conversion circuit and the braking release circuit is connected to the braking enable circuit. The fan motor startup circuit receives an external DC voltage. The braking enable circuit generates a braking control signal to turn on the power switch elements when the braking enable circuit receives the external DC voltage, thus braking the fan motor.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2014Date of Patent: December 20, 2016Assignee: DELTA ELECTRONICS, INC.Inventors: Wei-Shuo Tseug, Chia-Feng Wu, Ming-Lung Liu, Yu-Jen Liang

Publication number: 20060128220Abstract: A bus-line protector preventing the bus-lines within a computer casing from moving around and being damaged by metal components is disclosed. The bus-line protector has a base plate and at least one wing plate, wherein the base plate has at least one notch and at least one fold line. The wing plate is extended from the fold line of the base plate and comprises at least one insert extended from a periphery of the wing plate. After placing the bus-lines on the top surface of the base plate, the wing plate is inclined inwardly at the fold line and covers the base plate. Then, the insert comprising a T-shaped protrusion is securely engaged into the notch of the base plate. As a result, the bus-lines are fixed in location and are thus protected by the bus-line protector of the present invention.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2005Publication date: June 15, 2006Applicant: Tatung Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yu-Cheng Lin, Yu-Jen Liang
