    Abstract: Techniques are described that facilitate automatically providing entities with rephrased versions of standard answers. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented is provided that comprises determining, by a device operatively coupled to a processor, a talking style of a plurality of talking styles that an entity is associated with based on reception of natural language input from the entity proposing a question related to a defined topic. The method further comprises selecting, by the device based on the talking style, an answer rephrasing model from a plurality of answer rephrasing models respectively configured to generate different rephrased versions of a standard answer to the question, and employing, by the device, the answer rephrasing model to generate a rephrased version of the standard that corresponds to the talking style.

The conversion module informs to change the feed force and the feed speed according to the determination results of the two conversion conditions. The force control module provides the feed force. With the drilling system, possible impact on the workpiece due to resistance change which occurs when the drill just touches and nearly gets through the workpiece will be reduced.

The client device then updates a location based on the available data to reconcile the different sets of location data. Two or more dominant keys of two or more key types are aggregated and clustered to determine a combination of dominant keys which contributed to the alarm condition. A dominant traffic flow comprising the combination of dominant keys which contributed to the alarm condition is identified based on the aggregation and clustering. Malware or security threats can be identified from detecting a dominant source IP address or host which contributed to a predominant number of packet drops or retransmissions at ports of the network.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of generating control effort to control an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) includes determining a gear position (forward or reverse) in which the ADV is driving and selecting a driving model and a predictive model based upon the gear position. In a forward gear, the driving model is a dynamic model, such as a “bicycle model,” and the predictive model is a look-ahead model. In a reverse gear, the driving model is a hybrid dynamic and kinematic model and the predictive model is a look-back model. A current and predicted lateral error and heading error are determined using the driving model and predictive model, respectively A linear quadratic regulator (LQR) uses the current and predicted lateral error and heading errors, to determine a first control effort, and an augmented control logic determines a second, additional, control effort, to determine a final control effort that is output to a control module of the ADV to drive the ADV.

    Abstract: A method of navigating an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) includes determining a target function for an open space model based on one or more obstacles and map information within a proximity of the ADV, then iteratively performing first and second quadratic programming (QP) optimizations on the target function. Then, generating a second trajectory based on results of the first and second QP optimizations to control the ADV autonomously using the second trajectory. The first QP optimization is based on fixing a first set of variables of the target function. The second QP optimization is based on maximizing a sum of the distances from the ADV to each of the obstacles over a plurality of points of the first trajectory, and minimizing a difference between a target end-state of the ADV and a determined final state of the ADV using the first trajectory.

In response, a localization predictive model is applied to the set of parameters to determine a first position (e.g., x, y) of the ADV. A localization correction model is applied to the set of parameters to determine a set of localization correction factors (e.g., ?x, ?y). The correction factors may represent the errors between the predicted position of the ADV by the localization predictive model and the ground truth measured by sensors of the vehicle. Based on the first position of the ADV and the correction factors, a second position of the ADV is determined as the simulated position of the ADV.

A first shape-description vector is determined by processing the sketch through a first convolutional neural network (CNN), and a second shape-description vector is determined by processing the skeleton view through a second CNN. A feature-description vector is identified from a descriptor database based on a concatenated vector of the first shape-description vector and the second shape-description vector. The descriptor database stores feature-description vectors obtained by training the first CNN and the second CNN over a plurality of 3D models. A 3D model of the object corresponding to the feature-description vector is identified from the plurality of 3D models.
