    Abstract: A storage system adapted for receiving HDDs of different dimensions, including a casing, a backplane, at least one power supply module, and at least one storage controller is disclosed. The internal space of the casing forms at least one HDD receiving chamber. The HDD receiving chamber can be used for selectively receiving first type HDD devices or second type HDD devices. The two types of HDD devices are of different dimensions, for example, 2.5? and 3.5? HDDs. The backplane, the power supply module, and the storage controller are provided in the internal space of the casing. The backplane has a plurality of first connectors for electrically connecting to the HDD devices. The storage controller is electrically connected to the backplane and power supply module. A storage system capable of receiving mixed HDD devices of different dimensions is formed thereby.

    Abstract: A mounting device, for mounting a bezel (50) to cover an opening of a chassis (10) which is received in a cabinet (4), includes a pair of sliding units (20), a locking plate (30) attached to the chassis and the cabinet, and a pair of bent plates attached to opposite ends of the bezel. The sliding unit includes a horizontal member (22) attached to the chassis, a vertical member attached to the bezel, and a sliding member horizontally movably attached to the horizontal member and vertically movably attached to the vertical member. The bezel is movable from a first position in which the bent plates are engaged with the locking plates and the bezel covers the opening to a second position in which the bezel is moved away from the opening without detached from the chassis. Electronic components mounted in the chassis are therefore movable through the opening for maintenance.

    Abstract: A rail assembly (10) for attaching a server tray (60) into a cabinet includes a pair of rail brackets (80) mounted in sidewalls of the cabinet, a pair of outer rails (30) movably received in the rail brackets, and a pair of inner rails (20) attached to opposite sides of the server and movably received in the outer rails. Each rail bracket includes a first part (40), and a second part (50) adjustably connected with the first part. Each outer rail has a blocking member (322, 322′) formed therein. Each inner rail has an acting member (242, 242′) formed therein engaging with the blocking member of the outer rail. Therefore the outer rails can be moved outward together with the inner rails for fully drawing the server out of the cabinet with the outer rail detaching from the rail bracket, when the server needs to be maintained.
