    Abstract: A substrate for a display panel includes a base substrate, a plurality of signal lines, a plurality of signal pads corresponding to first end portions of the signal lines, a shorting bar corresponding to second end portions of the signal lines, a plurality of bridge lines on the base substrate disposed between the signal line and the shorting bar which electrically connects the signal line and the shorting bar. A color filter array panel opposite a TFT LCD panel substrate includes a medium dam layer which fully overlaps the bridge lines of the TFT LCD panel substrate. A data TFT for inspection having a source electrode coupled to the signal line, a drain electrode coupled to any one of the shorting bars, and a gate electrode coupled to a data TFT driving signal line ensures the normal operation of the display panel after the array test.

The display includes: a first display panel and a second display panel facing each other; a sealant disposed between the first display panel and the second display panel to define a sealant region and couple the first display panel and the second display panel to each other; a blocking member disposed between the first display panel and the second display panel and neighboring the sealant; and a liquid crystal interposed between the first display panel and the second display panel, and disposed in the sealant region. The blocking member includes silicone formed from a silane derivative having at least one butyrate.

    Abstract: A display substrate includes a source pad part, a plurality of storage wirings and a first voltage wiring. The source pad part includes a first voltage input pad receiving a storage common voltage. The storage wirings transmit the storage common voltage to a plurality of pixels. The first voltage wiring is connected to the first voltage input pad to be extended in a direction crossing the storage wirings. The first voltage wiring includes a first protrusion part overlapping a first end portion of each of the storage wirings. Therefore, defects of the display substrate may be detected by an electrical test and then repaired, and test efficiency of the display substrate may be enhanced.
