Patent number: 11948975Abstract: A method for fabricating semiconductor device includes the steps of: forming a gate structure on a substrate; forming a spacer around the gate structure; and forming a buffer layer adjacent to the gate structure. Preferably, the buffer layer includes a crescent moon shape and the buffer layer includes an inner curve, an outer curve, and a planar surface connecting the inner curve and an outer curve along a top surface of the substrate, in which the planar surface directly contacts the outer curve on an outer sidewall of the spacer.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2021Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: UNITED MICROELECTRONICS CORP.Inventors: Chih-Kai Hsu, Ssu-I Fu, Yu-Hsiang Hung, Wei-Chi Cheng, Jyh-Shyang Jenq

Publication number: 20240102609Abstract: A suspension bracket and an installing method thereof are provided. The suspension bracket includes a first bracket, a support pole, a positioning member, and a second bracket. The first bracket has an opening and includes a first connecting structure. The support pole is pierced through the opening and configured to be disposed on a preset location, and one end of the support pole abuts against an outer side of the opening. The positioning member is disposed on the support pole and abuts against another outer side of the opening to retain the first bracket. The first bracket is rotatable relative to the positioning member and the support pole. The second bracket includes a second connecting structure, which can be detachably connected to the first connecting structure of the first bracket to form an accommodating space for containing an article.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Yu-Kai CHIU, Ming-Hung HUNG

Publication number: 20220029719Abstract: This document describes systems and techniques to perform simulation model fitting for radio frequency (RF) matching-network optimization. Using a simulation tool, a simulation model of the RF interface circuitry is generated with matching component values. Port impedances of the simulation model are adjusted to match at least one or more simulated scattering parameters to at least one or more actual scattering parameter of a physical prototype of the RF interface circuitry assembled with the same matching component values. An optimal load-pull location for the RF interface circuitry is also determined. The simulation model is then used to identify a matching pair that corresponds to the optimal load-pull location. In this way, the described systems and techniques can reduce engineering time and improve the accuracy of the tuning process.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2020Publication date: January 27, 2022Applicant: Google LLCInventors: Hsin-Hung Wu, Yu-Kai Hung, Ting-Yu Guu

Patent number: 9356356Abstract: An open slot antenna is formed in a planar conductor on a dielectric substrate. A tuning circuit is disposed toward an open end of the slot antenna and is used to select a resonant frequency of the antenna by electrically connecting one of multiple tuning elements across opposing sides of the slot. The tunable antenna so constructed may be incorporated into a handheld mobile communication device that can be operated in different geographic regions, each having different regional communication standards under which mobile communications are conducted.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2012Date of Patent: May 31, 2016Assignee: Acer IncorporatedInventors: Chih-Hua Chang, Yu-Kai Hung

Patent number: 8543160Abstract: A system for antenna extension and a method adapted for antenna extension operation under a specific communication protocol are provided. The antenna extension system combines a handheld communication device with a base device, and determines if the total antenna number of the handheld communication device and the base device matches the standard antenna number of the specific communication protocol. If the total antenna number of the handheld communication device and the base device matches the standard antenna number of the specific communication protocol, the antenna extension system enables the antenna extension operation.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2012Date of Patent: September 24, 2013Assignee: Acer IncorporatedInventor: Yu-Kai Hung
