  • Patent number: 6550706
Abstract: A pepper grinder has a grinding assembly including an inner grinding member and an outer grinding member turnable relative to each other to grind pepper in between. The outer grinding member is secured in a lower housing member by means of a lower securing ring connected to the outer grinding member; the securing ring has saw teeth projecting from an upper edge, and is pressed into the lower housing for the pointed ends of the saw teeth to be inserted into the inner side of the lower housing such that the outer grinding member can't turn relative to the lower housing. The inner grinding member is also secured to an upper housing by a securing ring of the kind. Thus, the inner grinding member can turn relative to the outer one when the upper housing is turned relative to the lower housing.

  • Patent number: 6390339
Abstract: A liquid container has a content ejecting device fitted to the holding body, and a fall-prevention element provided on the content ejecting device, which has a cap depressable for the content to be ejected. The ejecting device includes a connecting member, the cap and a straw combination. The connecting member has an annular protrusion on a tube stub sticking up from the main surface, and is secured to the holding body. The cap is movably mounted onto the tube stub, and has annular protrusions on the inner side. The straw combination communicates with the cap and is received in the holding body from the lower portion as to eject the content via the cap when the cap is depressed. The annular protrusion of the tube stub will come into contact with the annular protrusions of the cap to prevent the holding body from falling down when the container is lifted from the cap.

  • Patent number: 6135326
Abstract: A bottle cap depressable to eject contents of the bottle comprises a cover, a straw combination and an outlet head. The cover is connected to the neck of the bottle, and has a central hole having a guide flange therearound. The straw combination has a tapering depressing tube passed through the central hole of the cover, and connected to the outlet head from the upper end thereof. The tapering depressing tube tapers towards the upper end such that the depressing tube can move smoothly with both the taper thereof and the guide flange of the cover when the outlet head is depressed and released repeatedly to eject the contents of the bottle for use.

  • Patent number: 6050458
Abstract: A bottle cap depressable to eject contents of the bottle has a depressing outlet member, a connecting member and a securing member. The securing member has an upper and a lower securing end portions each having several securing teeth. The upper end securing teeth have upwards-aimed sloped surfaces while the lower end securing teeth have downwards-aimed sloped surfaces. The upper and the lower securing end portions are inserted into the depressing outlet member, and a straw combination respectively with the securing teeth of the upper and the lower end portion securely engaging the inner circumference of the depressing outlet member and that of the straw combination respectively. Thus, the depressing outlet member is securely connected to the straw combination, preventing the bottle from separating from the outlet member and falling down to the ground when a user lifts the bottle from the outlet member.
