  • Publication number: 20240121685
Abstract: A method of reducing gray energy consumption and achieving optimal gray energy saving for carbon neutralization is proposed. In a cellular network, each cell or BS (group of cells) has renewable (green) and non-renewable (gray, on-grid power) energy sources. The renewable (green) energy is highly variable and unpredictable, while non-renewable (gray, on-grid power) is stable but is not renewable and thus has more carbon impact. Each cell or BS (group of cells) services is associated UEs when it is on. In one novel aspect, a cell or BS (group of cells) that consumes more non-renewable energy can give some or all of its served UEs to another cell or BS (group of cells) that consumes less non-renewable energy.

  • Publication number: 20170301492
Abstract: A temperature switch includes a base having a receiving hole, and a conducting mechanism mounted on the base and having first and second conductive modules, a connection module connected electrically and releasably to the first and second conductive modules, and two deformable rods that are disposed in the receiving hole and that push the second conductive module to abut against the connection module. The second conductive module is moved away from the connection module when one of the deformable rods is deformed by temperature to switch the temperature switch from an energized position to a safety cut-off position.

  • Patent number: 9443682
Abstract: A temperature switch electrically interconnects a first wire and a second wire, and includes a conducting mechanism and a temperature control mechanism controlling electrical connection between the first and second wires using the conducting mechanism in a normal condition. The conducting mechanism includes a safety unit composed of a conducting resilient bracket and a deformable component abutting against the conducting resilient bracket, thereby enabling the conducting resilient bracket to electrically interconnect the first and second wires. The deformable component is deformed upon reaching a specific temperature, such that interconnection between the first and second wires made via the conducting resilient bracket is broken.

  • Publication number: 20160155588
Abstract: A temperature switch includes a temperature control mechanism for switching between conducting and non-conducting states, and a conducting mechanism. The conducting mechanism includes first and second conducting units and a safety unit. The first conducting unit includes a first conducting piece and a first connecting piece electrically connected to one of a pair of wires. The second conducting unit is electrically connected to the other one of the wires. The safety unit includes a conductive resilient bracket having two first abutting walls and two temperature-dependent deformable components biasing the first abutting walls to contact respectively the first conducting piece and the first connecting piece.

  • Publication number: 20070188293
Abstract: A temperature switch includes a housing, a switching unit installed in the housing and including a resilient movable conductive plate that is movable between on and off positions, and a temperature control unit mounted on the housing and including a heat-conductive cover that is adapted to conduct heat of a heating element, a temperature-responsive element abutting against the cover, and a control rod and a fuse element disposed between the temperature-responsive element and the movable conductive plate to be moved by the temperature-responsive element so as to contact the movable conductive plate. The control rod has two opposite ends respectively extending towards the temperature-responsive element and the movable conductive plate. The fuse element is disposed at one of the ends. When the fuse element is melted, the control rod is disconnected from the temperature-responsive element either structurally or functionally.
