Abstract: The present invention mainly relates to a liquid crystal display device comprising a housing and a panel module. The panel module has generally a rectangular shape having four sides and four corners. The housing comprises a mold frame, a plurality of fixing pieces and a plurality of fixing structures being adapted to fix the fixing pieces to the mold frame. The mold frame has at least three rims and is adapted to directly and firmly hold and receive the panel module. Each of the fixing pieces is located at the corner of the panel module and comprises a panel module fixing rib and a lateral fixing portion securely fitted onto the corner of the panel module to clamp the panel module coupled to the mold frame.

The control panel includes a recess provided to an outer case of the washing machine and a control panel mounted in the recess. The control panel includes a first fixing part caught on an upper part of the recess and a second fixing part sliding along a bottom surface of the recess while the first fixing part is caught on the upper part of the recess.

The main body is provided with a support having two hooked portions configured to support the tube-like lamp. The present invention further provides another tube-like lamp characterized by having a buffer part securely attached on the bending portion for lessening or absorbing the shock of an impact on the tube-like lamp. The support may has a gap between the hooked portions such that the tube-like lamp fit with sufficient tightness into the gap between the hooked portions thereby immobilizing the tube-like lamp more efficiently and absorbing the shock.
