The present application further provides an S100A8/S100A9 heterodimer, wherein by co-expressing mutant S100A9 with wild type S100A8, the generation of homodimers can be effectively reduced, and a soluble heterodimer with high purity can be obtained. The present application further provides an S100A8/S100A9 heterodimer detection kit, which comprises the antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof, and the S100A8/S100A9 heterodimer of the present application, and has the characteristics of high sensitivity, strong specificity and simple operation.
