    Abstract: The present invention relates to a quadtree-based bandwidth compression prediction method and a system thereof. The bandwidth compression prediction method for example includes: dividing a to-be-predicted macroblock; obtaining a first prediction residual and a second prediction residual; judging whether re-dividing is performed on the to-be-predicted macroblock; and outputting the prediction residual and pixel component minimum values of the final sub-macroblocks divided from the to-be-predicted macroblock. According to the quadtree-based bandwidth compression prediction method and system, during the processing of complex texture images, the prediction effect is good, the processing efficiency is high, and the theoretical limit entropy can be reduced.

The fabrication operations include removing surface secondary phases or degraded portions of the sulfur enriched CZTSSe material to form a single phase sulfur enriched CZTSSe material. The fabrication operations further include replacing the substrate in contact with the single phase sulfur enriched CZTSSe material with a different contact material to form an exfoliated sulfur enriched CZTSSe device.

The log model can then be applied to logs containing log messages generated by execution of the program code, during its normal operation, to group log messages for improved analysis, including visualization, of the performance and behaviour of the distributed computer system.

The heat insulation sheet is arranged between the light socket and the light emitting module. Thus heat from a driver power in the light socket and heat from the light emitting module will not be affected by each other. The light socket further includes a main body and a case made from metal. The case is mounted on the main body for fixing the main body on the light emitting module and being subject to gravity force of the light emitting module. Thereby the problem of deformation of the main body caused by the gravity force of the light emitting module is solved when the luminaire is used at high temperature. Thus the service life of the luminaire is extended.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for a facial expression classification. In an embodiment, a multi-class classifier is trained using labelled training images, each training image including a facial expression. The trained classifier is then used to predict expressions for unlabelled video frames, whereby each frame is effectively labelled with a predicted expression. In addition, each predicted expression can be associated with a confidence score. Anchor frames can then be identified in the labelled video frames, based on the confidence scores of those frames (anchor frames are frames having a confidence score above an established threshold). Then, for each labelled video frame between two anchor frames, the predicted expression is refined or otherwise updated using interpolation, thereby providing a set of video frames having calibrated expression labels.

    Abstract: A subtractive forming method that includes providing a material stack including a samarium and selenium containing layer and an aluminum containing layer in direct contact with the samarium and selenium containing layer. The samarium component of the samarium and selenium containing layer of the exposed portion of the material stack is etched with an etch chemistry comprising citric acid and hydrogen peroxide that is selective to the aluminum containing layer. The hydrogen peroxide reacts with the aluminum containing layer to provide an oxide etch protectant surface on the aluminum containing layer, and the citric acid etches samarium selectively to the oxide etch protectant surface. Thereafter, a remaining selenium component of is removed by elevating a temperature of the selenium component.
