  • Publication number: 20190305287
Abstract: A battery pack includes a battery unit including rectangular secondary batteries, each including a sealing plate and positive and negative electrode terminals attached to the sealing plate; a bus bar that connects the rectangular secondary batteries together in parallel; an insulating plate disposed between the sealing plates of the rectangular secondary batteries and the bus bar; and a short-circuit breaking portion that interrupts an electric conduction path between the rectangular secondary batteries connected in parallel by allowing each sealing plate to bulge outward in response to an internal pressure rise of the battery to push up the insulating plate and the bus bar. A portion of each sealing plate that bulges most protrudes outward by greater than or equal to 1.5 mm from an outer peripheral edge of the sealing plate when a pressure in the corresponding rectangular secondary battery reaches the operating pressure of a gas release valve.

  • Patent number: 10337368
Abstract: To provide an engine device with high reliability and high safety in which a pipe conduit in a portion where a blow-by gas having leaked from a combustion chamber is merged with intake air (outdoor air) is not blocked with ice coating even in use in a cold region, especially an arctic region at ?20° C. or less, a blow-by gas mixed joint configured to introduce a blow-by gas flowing in a returning hose to an intake pipe includes a blow-by gas guide plate that defines introduction space expanding upstream and downstream of a blow-by gas inlet in an intake direction of an intake passage. The blow-by gas guide plate closes an upstream end of a part of the introduction space expanding upstream of a blow-by gas inlet and opens a downstream end of a part of the introduction space expanding downward of the blow-by gas inlet in the intake passage.

  • Publication number: 20160089860
Abstract: This invention provides an aluminum alloy material capable of being thermally bonded in a single layer without using a bonding agent, such as a brazing or welding filler metal. This invention also provides a bonding method for the aluminum alloy material, and an aluminum bonded body using the aluminum alloy material. The aluminum alloy material is made of an aluminum alloy containing Si: 1.0 to 5.0 mass % and Fe: 0.01 to 2.0 mass % with the balance Al and inevitable impurities. The aluminum alloy material contains 10 to 1×104 pieces/?m3 of Al-based intermetallic compounds having equivalent circle diameters of 0.01 to 0.5 ?m and 200 pieces/mm2 or less of Si-based intermetallic compounds having equivalent circle diameters of 5.0 to 10 ?m.

  • Patent number: 8909455
Abstract: A control device for an internal combustion engine including a camshaft of the internal combustion engine; a plurality of plane cam shape portions; at least one transitional shape portion; a cam switching mechanism; a cam position sensor; and a control section. The plane cam shape portions, at the camshaft, have valve lift characteristics different from each other, have respective cam faces parallel to a rotation axis of the camshaft, and are spaced apart from each other. The transitional shape portion is between two adjacent ones of the plane cam shape portions and has a curved cam face which connects the cam faces of the two plane cam shape portions. The cam switching mechanism switches between the valve lift characteristics for an intake valve by selecting one of the plane cam shape portions via the transitional shape portion.

  • Publication number: 20110229748
Abstract: The current-collecting lead for being welded to a collector welded to an upper portion of an electrode group and also to a sealing assembly of an cylindrical secondary battery includes: a flat surface part welded to the collector, and a top part formed to be curved and protrude approximately in the shape of a dome from the flat surface part and welded to the sealing assembly. A central opening is formed at a central portion of the top part. Around the central opening, a plurality of welding projections are formed to protrude toward the sealing assembly. The welding projections serve as welding spots to the sealing assembly. The top part is deformed by a pressing force from the sealing assembly to be brought into surface contact with a corner portion of a convex portion formed on a lower surface of the sealing assembly.
