  • Publication number: 20080112190
Abstract: A light guide plate is disclosed by the present invention. The light guide plate includes a first main body having a light-exiting surface and a second main body fixed to the first main body. The second main body has a light-entering surface, and the second main body is utilized to guide light received by the light-entering surface to the first main body, wherein there is a first recessed region positioned in one side of a joint portion between the first main body and the second main body, and the first recessed region is positioned at an edge of the light-exiting surface.

  • Publication number: 20080084691
Abstract: A light device with a color mixing effect, includes a first light bar, a second light bar, and a holding structure. The first light bar emits a first color light with a first color, and the second light bar emits a second color light with a second color different from the first color. The holding structure, having a light-mixing area, includes a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion. The first positioning portion is for positioning the first light bar, the second positioning portion is for positioning the second light bar, and the first light bar is parallel to and obliquely faces the second light bar, such that the first color light and the second color light are respectively emitted into the light-mixing area to form a third color light with a third color different from the first color and the second color.

  • Publication number: 20080049449
Abstract: A light guide device and a light guide plate using the same are provided. The light guide device has a first surface, a second surface, and a bottom surface. The first surface, the second surface, and the bottom surface define the internal part of the light guide device. The bottom surface has a cavity. When a light source in the cavity generates light, the light from the internal part of the light guide device is emitted via the first surface.

  • Patent number: 5139548
Abstract: A method for controlling the operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) process which utilizes gas turbine-driven refrigeration compressors is disclosed. A feedforward control system compensates for the effects of changes in ambient air temperature on the plant operating efficiency by periodically predicting a new temperature and resetting the set points of key feedback controllers in anticipation of this new temperature, thereby optimizing the operation of the plant and minimizing the specific fuel consumption at a given LNG production rate.

  • Patent number: 4755200
Abstract: A closed loop single component, e.g. propane or Freon refrigerant, refrigeration cycle is added to a single or dual mixed refrigerant natural gas liquefaction process to precool the natural gas prior to adsorptive drying. By means of pressure control, the single component refrigerant temperature can be accurately controlled to ensure against hydrate formation in the natural gas feed and to maximize the precooling of the natural gas feed prior to drying. The addition of the single component refrigeration cycle overcomes the difficulty of controlling the precooling temperature which occurs when cooling by a multicomponent refrigerant, and thus improves plant reliability and minimizes the equipment sizes associated with the drying operation.

  • Patent number: 4545795
Abstract: A process and apparatus is described for liquefying natural gas using two closed cycle, multicomponent refrigerants wherein a low level refrigerant cools and liquefies the gas by indirect heat exchange and a high level refrigerant cools and partially liquefies the low level refrigerant by indirect multistage heat exchange. The high level refrigerant is phase separated in order to use lighter refrigerant components to perform the final lowest level of refrigeration while the liquid phase of the separation is split and then expanded for refrigeration duty in order to avoid multiple flash separations wherein heavier components are used to provide the lower levels of refrigeration.
