    Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method applicable to a network system for automatically inserting an embedded toolbar into a web browser directly by way of a gateway device, wherein a toolbar request instruction written in a dynamic scripting language is inserted into a web page message by the gateway device while the web page message is transmitted from a web server to a terminal device (e.g., a personal computer, personal digital assistant, etc.) through the gateway device, so as to enable the web browser of the terminal device to request an embedded toolbar serve for providing an embedded toolbar message according to the toolbar request instruction and then show an embedded toolbar corresponding to the embedded toolbar message on a web page received from the web server according to the web page message. Thus, a user of the terminal device doesn't have to install the embedded toolbar additionally.

The circuit board module includes a plurality of circuit boards and at least one flexible electrical connection member. The circuit boards are disposed at the light incident side surfaces, respectively. The flexible electrical connection member electrically connects two of the circuit boards and is bendingly disposed between corresponding two of the circuit boards. The point light sources are electrically disposed on the circuit boards and suitable for emitting light towards the light incident side surfaces.     Abstract: A pixel and an illuminating device thereof are provided. The pixel includes an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a transistor, a first switch, a second switch and a capacitor. One end of the OLED is electrically connected to a first voltage. A first source/drain of the transistor is electrically connected to a first potential point. The first switch is electrically connected between a second source/drain of the transistor and a second potential point, and is controlled by a first driving signal. The second switch is electrically connected between the second source/drain of the transistor and a gate of the transistor, and is controlled by a second driving signal. The capacitor is electrically connected between the gate of the transistor and a data line. The first driving signal and the second driving signal are used to alternately enable/disable the first and the second switches, so as to drive the pixel.

    Abstract: A method of filtering to remove coding artifacts introduced at block edges in a block-based video coder, the method having the steps of: checking the content activity on every line of samples belonging to a boundary to be filtered and where content activity is based on a set of adaptively selected thresholds determined using Variable-Shift Table Indexing (VSTI); determining whether the filtering process will modify the sample values on that particular line based on said content activity; and selecting a filtering mode between at least two filtering modes to apply on a block boundary basis, implying that there would be no switching between the two primary modes on a line by line basis along a given block boundary. The two filtering modes include a default mode based on a non-recursive filter, and a strong filtering mode which features two strong filtering sub-modes and a new selection criterion that is one-sided with respect to the block boundary to determine which of the two strong filtering sub-modes to use.
