An outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a casing having a rectangular plan-view shape formed of a front portion, a left portion, and a rear portion; a heat exchanger provided in the casing and including a plurality of parts each having a rectangular plan-view shape; and a plurality of air-sending fans provided above a plurality of air inlet spaces, respectively, the air inlet spaces each being provided on an inner side of a corresponding one of the plurality of rectangular parts of the heat exchanger.
