Patent number: 11631316Abstract: An in-vehicle life detection system and detection method thereof are provided. The system includes a processor, an electromagnetic wave detection module, and a warning module. The method includes following steps: vehicle condition identifying step, life form detecting step, and warning step. Upon receiving an engine off signal and a driver absence signal, the processor emits a detection activation signal, activating the electromagnetic wave detection module to emit an electromagnetic wave for detecting a life form. When the life form is detected, the warning module sends a warning signal, indicating that the life form is left in the vehicle when the vehicle is in the engine off status with the doors closed. Thus, the tragedy of a life form remaining inside the vehicle incapable of calling for help is avoided.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2020Date of Patent: April 18, 2023Assignee: CUB ELECPARTS INC.Inventors: San-Chuan Yu, Yu-Tao Yu, Yuan-Tung Hung, Ming-Hung Lin, Wei-Shun Shih

Publication number: 20190118749Abstract: A mounting mechanism for a vehicle sensor includes a fixing board and a mounting base. The fixing board has a support portion and a plurality of flexible wing portions connected to the edge of the support portion. The mounting base is disposed at the support portion of the fixing board and contains the vehicle sensor. The flexible wing portions of the fixing board are bent and deformed such that the fixing board is fixed to various non-flat surfaces, for example, bends of the bumper, to render it easy to mount the vehicle sensor in place.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2017Publication date: April 25, 2019Inventors: San-Chuan YU, Yu-Tao YU, Meng-Yu HO, Yu-Ta CHEN, Ming-Lung KO
