  • Patent number: 10193757
Abstract: A network topology system comprises a plurality of nodes, each of the plurality of nodes having a set of connection rules which is built by the steps of: generating a series of prime number differences; generating a series of communication strategy numbers; extracting as many terms as the number of connecting nodes from a recursive sequences to serve as an index series; generating a series of connection strategy numbers by extracting the Nth terms from the series of communication strategy numbers, wherein N stands for each number of the index series; and generating a series of connecting nodes numbers by calculating the sum of each odd number and each term of the series of connection strategy numbers so as to build the connection rules for each odd-numbered node to connect the nodes numbered in corresponding with the numbers of the connecting nodes number series.

  • Patent number: 9675423
Abstract: An ultrasound energy barrier for avoiding energy accumulation in a to-be-protected region during tumor treatment has a barrier element and a positioning element. The barrier element is attached to a body surface of an animal outside a to-be-protected region and a to-be-treated tumor in turn, the barrier element has an outline matched with the to-be-protected region to thus shield the to-be-protected region, so as to avoid energy accumulation in the to-be-protected region during an ultrasound focusing treatment of the to-be-treated tumor. The positioning element positioning the barrier element on the body surface during the ultrasound focusing treatment.

  • Patent number: 9584401
Abstract: A switchless network topology system for parallel computation is provided. The switchless network topology system includes a plurality of nodes, of which one node communicates with another node according to a routing table, where the creation of the routing table includes the following steps: calculating a shortest path of transmission paths between two nodes of the nodes, where the shortest path has no relay node or at least one relay node between the two nodes; removing the transmission path between a starting node and a first relay node of the shortest path and identifying another shortest path between the starting node and the destination node; repeating the step of removing and identifying to identify other shortest paths between the starting node and the destination node; and creating the routing table based on every shortest path between any starting node and any destination node of the nodes.

  • Patent number: 8626963
Abstract: In a host-slave data transfer system, the slave device receives packet based data from an external device and stores the packet content in a buffer as data segments. The slave merges a plurality of data segments into data streams and transmits the data streams to the host. The host uses direct memory access (DMA) to unpack the data stream from the slave into individual data segments without memory copy. To enable the host to set up DMA, the slave transmits information regarding sizes of the data segments to the host beforehand via an outband channel, e.g. by transmitting the size information in headers and/or tailers inserted into previous data streams. The host utilizes the data segment size information to program descriptor tables, such that each descriptor in the descriptor tables causes one data segment in the data stream to be stored in the system memory of the host.

  • Patent number: 7686220
Abstract: The invention provides a memory card detection circuit of a computer. The memory card detection circuit comprises a plurality of query pins through which a memory card is coupled to the computer and a plurality of latch circuits respectively coupled to each of the query pins. The latch circuits generates query signals indicating whether ground bounce occurs in the voltage of the query pins due to a voltage difference between two ends of the query pins shortly after the memory card is coupled to the computer through the query pins. The query signals identify the type of the memory card without waiting until ground bounce is resolved.

  • Patent number: 7526594
Abstract: A method of Universal Serial Bus (USB) data transfer is provided. In one embodiment, a USB device supports a bulk-only transmission mode to transfer data with a USB host, and the USB device comprises a bulk endpoint buffer storing data transferred between the USB device and the USB host through a bulk endpoint of the USB device and an interrupt endpoint buffer storing data transferred between the USB device and the USB host through an interrupt endpoint of the USB device. A first portion of data stipulated to be transferred through the bulk endpoint is stored with the interrupt endpoint buffer. A data path through which data is transferred between the USB host and the USB device is switched to lead to either the bulk endpoint buffer or the interrupt endpoint buffer with a multiplexer.

  • Publication number: 20050280300
Abstract: A chair with a synchronous coordinating system for the chair back includes a base, a chair cushion and a chair back. The base and the chair cushion are connected fixedly or formed integrally, and the chair back is articulated with the base which is articulated with the chair back through an upright column extended above the chair cushion. The articulated point is located at the trochanter (the centre point of the hip joint) of the human body. The chair cause the turning (pitched or inclined) pivot of the chair back and the human body on the same line by providing the articulated point of the chair back and the base at the trochanter of the human body in the pitching movement. No matter how the angle of the chair back is adjusted, the contact surface between the backside of the human body and the chair back will not be changed so that the chair back can provide sufficient supporting force to the waist at any angle and the person on the chair will not feel uncomfortable.
