  • Patent number: 10511835
Abstract: Method and apparatus of video coding using decoder derived motion information based on bilateral matching or template matching are disclosed. According to one method, an initial motion vector (MV) index is signalled in a video bitstream at an encoder side or determined from the video bitstream at a decoder side. A selected MV is then derived using bilateral matching, template matching or both to refine an initial MV associated with the initial MV index. In another method, when both MVs for list 0 and list 1 exist in template matching, the smallest-cost MV between the two MVs may be used for uni-prediction template matching if the cost is lower than the bi-prediction template matching. According to yet another method, the refinement of the MV search is dependent on the block size. According to yet another method, merge candidate MV pair is always used for bilateral matching or template matching.

  • Patent number: 7132584
Abstract: A method of using high temperature plasma to disintegrate waste containing titanyl phthalocyanine (TiOPc) comprises heating a mixture of titanyl phthalocyanine (TiOPc), a vitrifying material and optionally selected waste soil to a temperature of 1,220° C. to 10,000° C. until the mixture becomes a molten lava. The plasma breaks down the titanyl phthalocyanine and encapsulates the benign products in the lava that is chemically very stable. Since the titanyl phthalocyanine (TiOPc) is disintegrated completely in the process, the titanyl phtbalocyanine (TiOPc) no longer represents a threat to the environmental.

  • Publication number: 20050159602
Abstract: A method for synthesizing chiral bicyclic thiazolidine hydantoin that uses L-(+)-Cysteine, an aldehyde, and a preferred benzylisocyanate as reactants with additive solid molecular sieves to efficiently synthesize chiral bicyclic thiazolidine hydantoin crystallization having high purity. This method can be operated within only a singular reacting chamber without isolating intermediates in this method. Thereby, operational procedures of the present invention are simplified to make the method economic.

  • Publication number: 20050049450
Abstract: A melting plasma method for treatment of Alq3 organic waste has steps of (a) providing an organic waste comprising Alq3; (b) heating the Alq3 organic waste provided in step (a) by melting plasma; and (c) obtaining a non-toxic organic solid lava which does not have any Alq3.
