Abstract: A data warehouse system comprising a warehouse database and a data warehouse manager communicatively coupled to the database. The warehouse manager is to store data to and retrieve data from the warehouse database and perform metadata reconciliation to update metadata of objects in the data warehouse to reflect a change in metadata of a first object in the warehouse by identifying a first set of objects impacted by the change to the metadata of the first object, identifying a second set of objects on which the first object depends, identifying at least one task that has to be completed to propagate the impact of the change in the metadata of the first object to objects in the first and second sets of objects, performing the task, and dynamically computing additional tasks based on whether or not definitions of objects in the first or second sets of objects changes based upon completion of the at least one task.

  • Publication number: 20100166217
Abstract: The present invention discloses a driving circuit for electronic horn and a driving method for the electronic horn. The driving circuit includes an oscillating circuit, which generates a signal having oscillating frequency. Based on the signal, said driving circuit generates a driving signal to drive the electronic horn to produce sound. It is characterized in that said oscillating circuit includes a variable capacitor, and the oscillating frequency is changed by adjusting capacitance of the variable capacitor so as for the frequency of the driving signal to be consistent with working frequency of the electronic horn. The present invention overcomes the problem of mismatch between the frequency of circuit's driving signal and the horn's sounding diaphragm and horn's tone inflexion due to resistance change caused by vehicle vibration.

  • Patent number: 7680818
Abstract: A method for determining the dependencies between objects in a system is provided. Determining the dependencies between objects involves analyzing data about the objects and applying rules to the data about the objects. According to one embodiment, a first set of dependencies between a plurality of objects may be based on data in a set of sources and dependency rules, whereas a second set of dependencies between the plurality of objects may be based on data from a different set of sources but the same dependency rules. According to another embodiment, a first set of dependencies between a plurality of objects may be based on data in a set of sources and dependency rules, whereas a second set of dependencies between the plurality of objects is based on data from the same set of sources but different dependency rules.

  • Patent number: 7285256
Abstract: Precious metal-containing mineral material is subjected to an acidic thiocyanate leach to dissolve the precious metal as a precious metal-thiocyanate complex. A feed of the thiocyanate leach solution may include a large molar ratio of ferric iron to thiocyanate. Precious metal may be removed from pregnant thiocyanate leach solution, such as by transferring precious metal from precious metal-thiocyanate complex to precious metal-cyanide complex and then loading the precious metal-cyanide complex onto an adsorbent material. Remaining cyanide in the thiocyanate leach solution may be converted to thiocyanate for additional leaching of precious metal.

  • Publication number: 20030015065
Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention provides a method for recovering precious metal, and particularly gold, from a particulate substrate loaded with a precious metal-containing coating, in which a portion, but less than substantially all, of the particulate substrate is dissolved away to physically release precious metal-containing coating from the particulate substrate. The particulate substrate loaded with a precious metal-containing coating may be prepared during precious metal recovery operations by cementation of precious metal on a base metal particulate substrate from a pregnant leach solution, such as a leach solution including a thiosulfate lixiviant for the precious metal.

  • Patent number: 6456193
Abstract: A controlling method and apparatus of constant-frequency sound-production for an electric horn are described. These are achieved. And comprised by a monolithic-processor. It's characterized in that frequency pulse output from constant-frequency oscillator is collected as base resonant frequency of each horn (accuracy at least +0.05 HZ), thereby the horns can operate in optimum condition driven by electric driving signal, duty cycle of the driving signal can be arbitrarily adjusted in the range of 1-99% based on sound production feature of different horns. It overcomes the shortcomings that sound changing and sound level descending may arise under the influence of environmental temperature and motor vehicle's voltage variation in the horn with contact and various present electric horns. It also can be used as a signal source having adjustable frequency and pulse width.

  • Patent number: 5980109
Abstract: A self-tied garbage bag includes a pair of walls united along their lower ends and sides to form a container which has a top with an opening, a bottom and pair of lateral edges. A bond strip extends at one or both lateral edges of the container between a lower point which is spaced from the bottom of the container and an upper point which is spaced from the top of the container. The lower point of the bond strip is in the form of a sharp tip. A tear line extends along the bond strip from the lower point to a division portion which is disposal in proximity to the upper point of the bond strip. This tear line, being ruptured, separates a tie strip from the bond strip, however, integrally joining the tie-strip to the container at a division portion. The container has a wider upper part extending above the bondstrip, a wider bottom part extending below the bond strip, and a narrower middle part extending between the upper and bottom parts of the container.

  • Patent number: 4923510
Abstract: Refractory carbonaceous sulfide ores are treated in a manner so as to improve gold recovery by a treatment in specific combination of steps whereby the ore is treated with chlorine after pretreatment and before cyanidation; the particular steps in the treatment of the ore have been found to be necessary as the conventional pretreatment will not improve the yields on any economic basis.
