Abstract: The present invention discloses a carbon dioxide (CO2) absorbing agent, a CO2 capture system and a method of slowing down the degradation of the CO2 absorbing agent. More specifically, by adding additives of inorganic salts to the CO2 absorbing agent to act as an oxygen inhibitor, the dissolved oxygen value thereof would be decreased so as to slow down the degradation of the CO2 absorbing agent.
