    Abstract: A method includes providing, by a collaborative electronic data platform, a collaborative electronic document for presentation on a first device of a first user. The collaborative electronic document includes a table associated with a third-party platform. The method includes determining a table synchronization option is activated, and sending via an API, a request to synchronize content of the table in the collaborative electronic document with content associated with the third-party platform. The method includes receiving, via the API, data for the table and updating the table. In response to input of the first user, the method includes adding data to the table and causing the table to be presented on the first device. In response to input of a second user, the method includes adding data to the table and causing the table to be presented on the first device.

    Abstract: A client device is provided with access to an electronic document using a user interface (UI) for a first application. The electronic document includes a reference to data associated with a second application. Upon detection of a first user interaction with a UI element associated with the reference to the data, the UI for the first application is updated to include, in the electronic document, at least a portion of the data associated with the second application. A request is received to modify data associated with the second application based on a second user interaction with the at least the portion of the data included in the electronic document. An instruction is transmitted to a computing system associated with the second application to modify the at least the portion of the data in accordance with the request.
