    Abstract: Techniques related to multi-layer wireless communications are disclosed. Some aspects of the disclosure relate to devices and methods for determining a transmission power boost for a phase-tracking reference signal (PT-RS). A wireless user equipment (UE) may map a multi-layer uplink transmission to a plurality of PT-RS ports by distributing the layers of the multi-layer uplink transmission among the plurality of PT-RS ports. The UE may determine a first transmission power boost for a first PT-RS port, and a second transmission power boost, different from the first transmission power boost, for a second PT-RS port. The UE may transmit a first PT-RS corresponding to the first PT-RS port utilizing the first transmission power boost, and the second PT-RS corresponding to the second PT-RS port, frequency division multiplexed with the first PT-RS, utilizing the second transmission power boost.     Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for tracking flows of packets in a network using a packet color marking scheme for obtaining network end-to-end traffic flow metrics in the network. In particular, in configurations, a user may be prompted to specify a site and a virtual private network (VPN) at which to start a trace for packet flows using a coloring marking scheme within the network. Given the VPN and the site, it is possible to monitor interested packet flows and apply metadata, e.g., colors, on flow packets. Remote wide area network (e.g., software defined WAN (SD-WAN)) routers receiving the packets with metadata may automatically trace the same flow and apply the same metadata to a next hop router. Hence, an end-to-end network path may be discovered.

The UE may transmit capability signaling indicating a number of supported PTRS antenna ports (e.g., up to 4). The network entity may transmit control signaling indicating a number of PTRS antenna ports and a mapping between the PTRS antenna ports and other ports (e.g., sounding reference signal (SRS) ports or demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports). In some examples, the UE may also indicate a requested number of PTRS antenna ports (e.g., which may be the same as or less than the supported number of PTRS antenna ports).

Combining the left/right reactor unit, secondary left/right reactor units and central reactor units with other accessories allows the reactor system to carry out the simulation experiments with either zero, one, or two view zones, and with either one or two wells.

Based on graph data associated with a graph data structure, a user interface is provided on a device. Based on user inputs received via the user interface, a feature candidate for the machine learning model is determined. The feature candidate is associated with a particular way of traversing the graph data structure to obtain attribute values associated with one or more vertices and/or one or more edges in the graph data structure. Based on the attribute values, a value corresponding to the feature candidate can be calculated. The value can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the feature candidate in performing the task. The feature candidate can then be incorporated into the machine learning model as one of the input features.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques, methods, devices, systems, and non-transitory computer readable medium for generating codebooks for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) s. For example, a RIS controller generates a codebook for a RIS by computing weights using a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) function or a fractional Fourier transform (FrFT) function, based on reference signals (RSs) transmitted by a transmitter. The weights correspond to the RIS elements or a subset of the RIS elements. In some aspects, the computation of the weights may include oversampling factors that allow for a higher resolution of the weights and improved search for an optimal precoding setting. Different sets of weights may be used for different incoming beams. The RIS controller may be trained with a pair of transmitter and a receiver to identify/generate the codebook for an optimized set of weights under specific situations.
