    Abstract: An AlGaInP light-emitting diode includes from bottom up a substrate, a DBR reflecting layer, an N-type semiconductor layer, a quantum well light-emitting layer, a P-type semiconductor layer, a transient layer and a P-type current spreading layer. The DBR reflecting layer is multispectral-doping. The P-type semiconductor layer includes a first P-type semiconductor layer adjacent to the quantum well light-emitting layer and a second P-type semiconductor layer adjacent to the transient layer. A doping concentration of the second P-type semiconductor layer is lower than that of the first P-type semiconductor layer. By improving doping concentration of the multispectral DBR reflecting layer, current spreading can be improved, thus improving aging performance. A concentration difference is formed with the transient layer to balance doping of the transient layer; this avoids increasing non-radiation composition from high doping of the transient layer during long-time aging.

Thus, the unprocessed event present on the terminal can be directly processed through the ancillary device, and the terminal can eventually generate a notification message to notify the user of the unprocessed event.

    Abstract: A computer system measures noise in an urban environment using data records providing a location of a noise, a time stamp associated with the noise, and a noise category. Such data records are sparse with respect to both locations and time. The computer system also accesses other information that defines correlations of among different locations and among different time slots. Such correlation data can include geographic information and historical sample data. By applying this correlated information to the sparse data records about noise, the computer system can derive noise level and noise category information over a larger geographical area. Such information can be provided continually based on received data records about noise, typically in a matter of minutes after receiving the noise data for any given time slot.

    Abstract: A computer system measures traffic speed on a road network. Sensors provide location data, over time, for a sampling of vehicles on the road network, such as a fleet of vehicles. This location data from a sampling of vehicles is sparse with respect to both road segments in the road network and time. From the location data, the computer system generates sample data associating speed of sampled vehicles on the road segments to points of time in a plurality of time slots. The computer system accesses other information that defines correlations among different road segments and among different time slots. The computer system derives at least an average vehicle speed for each road segment in the road network for at least the current time slot using the correlation data and the sparse sample data. The computer system can infer traffic volume from average vehicle speeds, and then compute environmental data.

    Abstract: Techniques for analyzing effectiveness of an urban area based on traffic patterns collected from route-oriented vehicles. A process collects sequences of global positioning system (GPS) points in logs and identifies geographical locations to represent the urban area where the route-oriented vehicles traveled. The process models traffic patterns by: partitioning the urban area into regions based at least in part on major roads, segmenting the GPS points from the logs into time slots, and identifying the GPS points associated with transporting a passenger in the route-oriented vehicles. The process models traffic patterns by projecting the identified GPS points onto the regions to construct transitions of the identified GPS points travelling between the regions. Then the process builds a matrix of the regions for each time slot in each day based on a number of the transitions. Each item in the matrix represents an effectiveness of a connection between two regions.
