  • Patent number: 9904065
Abstract: A refractive lens for displaying three-dimensional images (3D) comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, and a refractive layer configured between the first substrate and the second substrate and configured as a plurality of lens units of the refractive lens. The refractive lens is capable of being coupled to a first display panel having a pixel unit pitch A and a second display panel having a pixel unit pitch B to display the 3D images, the pixel unit pitch A being different from the pixel unit pitch B. Each lens unit of the refractive lens has an equal length p, and p is a common multiple of 2*A and 2*B. Each lens unit of the refractive lens is driven by a same driving voltage.

  • Patent number: 9307072
Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing a function in an electronic device includes an electronic device displaying 110 a first set of elements on a touch-sensitive display. Then the device receives 115 a first input on the touch-sensitive display, wherein the first input selects at least one element from the first set of elements. Then the device determines 120 that the first input has continued on a path from the at least one element to an edge of the touch-sensitive display. In response to the determining, the device calculates 130 a target key based on at least one characteristic of the path. After calculating, the device senses 155 an activation of the target key by a user. Subsequently, when the target is pressed the device performs 165 the function associated with the target key on the at least one element.

  • Publication number: 20030131015
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for automated detection of possible protein and nucleic acid targets of a given drug. The advantage of this invention over existing methods is its unique capability of drug target detection. In contrast, existing computer methods are designed for screening multiple chemical compounds to find one or more compounds that can bind to a protein or nucleic acid, and they are not capable of finding drug targets. Potential applications of this method and apparatus include unknown target or secondary target identification for drugs, lead compounds, and natural products. It may also potentially facilitate the prediction of drug side-effect and toxicity based on the analysis of function of identified protein or nucleic acid targets. A ligand-biomolecule inverse-docking algorithm is disclosed to flexibly dock a ligand to multiple entries in a biomolecular cavity database.
