    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first casing, a second casing, a plurality of connecting rods and a connecting part. The first casing has an upper surface, and an end of each of the connecting rods is connected to the second casing. The connecting part connected to the first casing has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion having a lower surface and two corresponding side surfaces adjacent to the first connecting portion. The lower surface faces the upper surface of the first casing and is parallel with the upper surface. A runner is formed at each of the side surfaces, and the other ends of the connecting rods are slidingly disposed in the runners correspondingly to allow the second casing to move relative to the first casing via the runners of the connecting part and the connecting rods.

    Abstract: A pivot apparatus adapted to connect a host and a display includes a rotary base having a first part and a second part, a connecting plate, a pivot component, a first connecting rod and a hook. The first part is embedded at the host. The second part has a rotary shaft embedded at a first edge of the connecting plate. The pivot component is pivotally connected between a rear surface of the display and a second edge of the connecting plate. The first connecting rod is slidably disposed at the connecting plate and has at least a locking hole. The hook is disposed at the rear surface and passes through the connecting plate to be slidably disposed in the locking hole. The hook is used to interfere with the first connecting rod to restrict the rotation of the display by the pivot component relative to the connecting plate.

    Abstract: A method is disclosed of modification of parameters of audio signals by dividing a digital signal converted from an original analog signal into sound frames, modifying a pitch and a playing rate of the digital signal within a frame and subsequent successive splicing a last modified frame with a first non-modified frame and calculating the mean absolute error to define the best splicing point in terms of producing minimal or no audible noise such that various sections of sound signals can be spliced together to achieve pitch and playing rate modification.An apparatus is also disclosed for implementing the method, the apparatus comprising input and output amplifiers, a low pass filter at the input and a low pass filter at the output, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, and a pitch shifting processor.

    Abstract: A noodle machine has a housing with an upper opening, a receptacle deposited in the housing for receiving flour and water for making dough for noodles by stirring them by rotation of a stirring shaft positioned horizontally in the receptacle and rotated by a motor. A front cap with a center cylindrical portion for a screw portion of the stirring shaft fits therein to squeeze out dough to go out through a sieve with holes fixed at the front of the cylindrical portion to become noodles. And a shutter hangs at a notch at an upper side edge of the receptacle for closing an opening of a U-shaped plate of the front cap for hampering dough from moving into the screw portion and removed to let dough move through the opening of the U-shaped plate to be squeezed out of the sieve to become noodles by rotation of the screw portion.
