Abstract: A system and a method for resource sharing and a playing device thereof are provided. The system for resource sharing includes a playing device and a first electronic device. Wherein, the playing device has a wireless connecting function, the communication unit of the first electronic device searches a valid wireless access point (AP) in a specific area, the first electronic device is connected to the first wireless AP found for obtaining the first ID data from the first wireless AP, the first ID data is then transmitted to the playing device. The first ID data is then provided from the playing device to the first wireless AP for an authorization and establishing a connection. After an electronic device is connected to the first wireless AP, the electronic device accesses the playing resource of the playing device via the connection between the first wireless AP and the playing device.

Abstract: A system for controlling and displaying frame information displayed on a controllable device by using a control device and an application method are described. The system includes a control device and a controllable device, in which the controllable device displays image information of at least one channel, and the control device in communication with the controllable device displays image information of the channel and channels adjacent to the channel on a touch screen thereof. Moreover, when the control device receives a gesture signal, the controllable device processes the gesture signal and performs a preset function corresponding to the gesture signal. By using the system and the application method thereof, diversified control modes are provided to the user, and the user can remotely control the controllable device through a simple operation.

Abstract: An electronic device having an on screen display (OSD) and a method for generating the OSD are described, for generating an OSD in an electronic device, so as to reduce the display area of the OSD. The method comprises the steps of selecting a function menu, and drawing a display layer of the function menu and a display layer of each function item in the function menu on a display frame of a display; selecting a function item from the current function menu; only drawing the display layer of the selected function item and removing the display layers of the unselected ones; and when the selected function item further includes another function menu, drawing a display layer of each function item in the function menu.

Abstract: A method of modifying an interface of a handheld device includes the handheld device sending an interface request to a device, the handheld device receiving an interface profile from the device in response to the interface request, the handheld device modifying the interface to a modified interface according to the interface profile, and the handheld device controlling the device through the modified interface.

Abstract: A displayer having an unshielded on screen displayer (OSD) and a method for implementing the unshielded OSD are described. A microprocessor of the displayer having the unshielded OSD generates a plurality of first opaque items without a background color and a first background layer having a size the same as that of the first opaque items, and combines the first opaque items with the first background layer into a function menu. When a controller controls the first background layer to move around, the first background layer is overlapped with one of the first opaque items without the background color, and taken as an undercoat for the first opaque item, so as to highlight the information carried by the first opaque item. The first opaque item without the background color does not easily shield the screen image, so as to avoid shielding a viewable area of the screen.
