    Abstract: A keyboard able to recognize fingertip touches and touches in gestures such as fingertip sliding, in addition to simple presses on keycaps, includes a plurality of keycaps, a touch layer, a function trigger layer, a touch controller, and a function controller. Each keycap has an operation surface for receiving the pressings and touches. The touch layer generates touch sensing signals according to the touches, the function component generates key signals according to the pressings. The touch controller obtains touch information from the touch sensing signals. The function controller triggers desired key functions according to the key signals received. A method for making such keyboard is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A touch panel includes a plurality of touch electrodes, a force sensing electrode, a processor, and a vibration structure. The touch electrodes acquire a touch signal generated by a touch operation in real time. The force sensing electrode is disposed opposite to the touch electrodes and forms a capacitor structure with the touch electrodes. The capacitor structure includes an initial capacitance. The processor is electrically coupled to the touch electrodes and the force sensing electrode and detects a position of the touch operation according to a capacitance difference effected by the touch operation and generates a control signal according to the capacitance difference. The vibration structure is electrically coupled to the processor and vibrates in response to the control signal.

Each light emitting element is located in one sub-pixel unit. A driving circuit on the substrate causes the device to alternate between display periods and touch periods. During each display period, the light emitting elements emit light for image display, and during each touch period, the driving circuit applies touch scan signals to the plurality of light emitting elements and reads self-capacitance value of each light emitting element. A touch position is calculated according to the self-capacitance values of each light emitting element.
