    Abstract: A device for mounting an electronic display to a wall includes: a fixing plate; a display-mounting bracket configured to vertically tilt relative to the fixing plate, wherein the display-mounting bracket includes a proximal extension defining a damper housing; an adjustment screw extending through the damper housing; a damper slider disposed around the screw; and a spring coupled between the fixing plate and the slider such that: the spring provides a counterbalancing force against a weight of the display to retain a vertical-tilt orientation of the display, and rotation of the screw causes a proximal or distal translation of the slider relative to the fixing plate and adjusts an orientation of the spring relative to a vertical axis of the fixing plate, thereby modifying the counterbalancing force.
