  • Patent number: 10200838
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a method of providing location information for a mobile electronic device and a mobile electronic device using the same method. In one of the exemplary embodiments, the mobile electronic device would receive a first signal that indicates capturing a multimedia file. In response to receiving the first signal, the mobile electronic device would transmit to an external device a second signal in response to receiving the first signal. In response to transmitting the second signal, the mobile electronic device may receive from the external device a first location information or an ephemeris. The mobile electronic device may then determine the first location information either based on the first location information as received or based on the ephemeris. Also, the mobile electronic device may associate the multimedia file with the first location information.

  • Patent number: 10012716
Abstract: In an MRI method and apparatus a 3D magnetic resonance scan sequence is performed to acquire MR raw data, which are entered into k-space with 2D CAIPIRINHA undersampling. The sampled data are reorganized into data blocks that each contain one sampled k-space location. The data blocks are extracted from k-space in a predetermined sequence, and image data are reconstructed from the k-space data respectively in the extracted data blocks. The application of the 2D CAIPIRINHA undersampling method with corresponding reorganized data blocks into a 3D scan sequence, in particular a SPACE scan sequence, significantly improves the comfort of an examination subject as well as the overall image quality thereof.

  • Publication number: 20170374566
Abstract: The disclosed technology includes systems and methods for optimizing network traffic management in a mobile network. One method includes determining if a mobile application executing on a mobile device is associated with network signaling requiring a corresponding radio connection. At least a portion of the network signaling caused by the transactions is filtered. The filtered network signaling does not cause a corresponding radio connection. A signaling efficiency is calculated that indicates a total number of the radio connections that are saved as a result of the filtering.

  • Publication number: 20170328463
Abstract: A linear transmission device includes a shaft, a moving member movably provided on the shaft, and a lubrication unit provided at the moving member. The lubrication unit has a lubricant container and a block. The lubricant container has a storage space which communicates with the interior of the moving member via a lubricant dispensing opening. The block is provided in the storage space of the lubricant container and can be displaced by an inertial force generated by movement of the moving member so that, during its displacement, the block squeezes the lubricant in the storage space, thereby driving the lubricant into the interior of the moving member through the lubricant dispensing opening for lubrication.

  • Publication number: 20170181026
Abstract: Systems and methods for extending delay tolerance of mobile applications to optimize mobile traffic management are disclosed. In a mobile device, network stack timers or protocol stack timers are modified to extend delay tolerance of applications for radio alignment. In an embodiment, tolerance of mobile applications on a mobile device to delay in establishing a connection to a wireless network is extended by an application or a local proxy on a mobile device. Based on the tolerance that is extended, requests intercepted from the mobile applications are aggregated, over a period of time, such that transfer of the requests intercepted during the period of time is delayed. This minimizes the number of times the mobile device connects to the network, reducing the power consumption on the mobile device and unnecessary signaling in the network.
