  • Patent number: 7192017
Abstract: A mechanical suction device has a housing, multiple pneumatic cylinder assemblies, multiple air piston assemblies and a base. The housing has a side, multiple top recesses, multiple bottom recesses, multiple longitudinal air passages and multiple transverse ports. The pneumatic cylinder assemblies are mounted on the side of the housing, and each has a cylinder and a shaft valve. The air piston assemblies are mounted on the housing, and each has an air piston mounted on one of the top recesses. The shaft valves are mounted slidably and respectively inside the transverse ports. At least one of the air pistons is raised to suck one or multiple workpieces by providing air compressed into at least one of the longitudinal air passages and providing air compressed into at least one of the cylinders to move the corresponding shaft valve.
