Abstract: A regeneration membrane is provided for dentistry. The traditional thin collagen is turned into a flowable and shapeable collagen gel. A photo-crosslinking agent (i.e. riboflavin (vitamin B2)) is added in a biomedical-level collagen gel to obtain the shapeable collagen gel. The shapeable collagen gel is filled in a pre-filled syringe. The shapeable collagen gel is squeezed to a destined position for paving and shaping. Then, crosslinking is processed through UV illumination for curing. Flowability is achieved for applying. After applying, solidification is finished through illumination to turn liquid into solid. Thus, a regeneration membrane is formed with biological tolerance.

The controller operates the pump to automatically maintain a threshold pressure of air within the sag as sensed by the sensor. The sensor and the controller are disposed on the sag surface.

Abstract: Electrolytes for Mg-based energy storage devices can be formed from non-nucleophilic Mg2+ sources to provide outstanding electrochemical performance and improved electrophilic susceptibility compared to electrolytes employing nucleophilic sources. The instant electrolytes are characterized by high oxidation stability (up to 3.4 V vs Mg), improved electrophile compatibility and electrochemical reversibility (up to 100% coulombic efficiency). Synthesis of the Mg2+ electrolytes utilizes inexpensive and safe magnesium dihalides as non-nucleophilic Mg2+ sources in combination with Lewis acids, MRaX3-a (for 3?a?1). Furthermore, addition of free-halide-anion donors can improve the coulombic efficiency of Mg electrolytes from nucleophilic or non-nucleophilic Mg2+ sources.

Abstract: A document management software is executed in print control device connectable via a network to an information processing device that sends an instruction and document thereto. The software includes: a step of determining if a non-native document is selected, wherein the non-native document is stored in a detachable memory connected to the print control device; a step of sending to the information processing device the selected non-native document so as to convert the non-native document into a native document; and a step of receiving the converted native document from the information processing device for printing, wherein the native document is printable document.

Abstract: A control apparatus for enabling a user to communicate by speech with a processor-controlled apparatus, 1) controls a display of text data which includes a speech link that can be activated by a spoken command, 2) determines the location of a cursor displayed on a display from gaze input information, 3) changes a shape of the cursor when the cursor is located over the speech link, and 4) outputs a prompt identifying speech commands that can be used to activate the speech link when the cursor is displayed on the display in a changed state for a predetermined time located over the speech link.

Abstract: This invention further improves the operability of a mobile device by changing the operation screen of the mobile device in accordance with the operation status of the mobile device or that of an image forming apparatus in a communicable state when the mobile device and image forming apparatus become communicable with each other. When it is detected that the mobile device exists within a range of a predetermined short distance, status information is acquired from the mobile device to determine whether a file is selected in the operation screen of the mobile device. Information which designates an operation screen to be displayed on the mobile device is transmitted on the basis of the determination result.

Abstract: A speech recognition method and apparatus is disclosed in which each utterance matched to a feature model within a feature model memory (110) is associated with a confidence score indicative of the posterior probability of the word being correctly matched, given that the matching of the utterance to the feature model generated certain values indicative of the goodness of the match. The confidence score for the matching of an utterance to a feature model is determined from the generated values indicative of the goodness of the match and a stored set of parameters indicating the probability of the generated values arising given that a match is either correct or incorrect.
