    Abstract: A programmable tire-condition sensor includes a control module, which includes a circuit board carrying a battery, a power switch, a processor, a memory, a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, an acceleration sensor, a voltage sensor, a transmission interface unit and a connection port, and a flexible shell that has a surface area greater than the circuit board, an uplifted area on the middle, an opening, a switch accommodation hole for accommodating the power switch and a connection port accommodation hole for accommodating the connection port. A vehicle tire is also disclosed having installed therein the programmable tire-condition sensor, and a method is still also disclosed for installing the programmable tire-condition sensor in a vehicle tire.

    Abstract: A programmable tire monitoring device includes a casing having an air nozzle on its one end and a set of pin-connection holes and a switch hole on its top side, a circuit board mounted in the casing and carrying a processor and a memory, a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor and an acceleration sensor electrically connected to the processor for sensing the pressure, temperature and acceleration of one tire of a car, a transmission interface for transmitting the measured data to a receiver in the car, a connection port installed in the circuit board corresponding to the pin-connection holes for enabling the circuit board to be connected with an external electrical connector, a battery set for providing the programmable tire monitoring device with the necessary electric power, a voltage sensor electrically connected to the processor for sensing the voltage of the battery set, and a power switch for switching on/off the circuit of the battery set.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a surface treatment agent for aqueous ink receiving media such as ink jet recording paper, printing sheets, coating materials and so on. The surface treatment agent according to the invention comprises a water-based resin and a carboxylic acid-containing hydrophilic sulfopolyester which provides superior adhesion and water resistance. With the superior adhesion properties, the surface treatment agent can be directly coated on substrates without the inconvenience of primer coating. The surface treatment agent of the invention is suitable for aqueous ink jet printing, coating, or recording media, particularly those of ink jet printers and ink jet plotters.
