    Abstract: A DC converter includes a non-isolated conversion module and an isolated conversion module. The non-isolated conversion module is implemented based on a redundant structure and has a first power conversion loop, a second power conversion loop, and an energy storage element. The first and second power conversion loops are connected and share the energy storage element. The energy storage element is further connected to an input terminal of the isolated conversion module. The first and second conversion loops of the non-isolated conversion module convert DC power outputted from two battery sets and output the converted power to the isolated conversion module. The isolated conversion module further supplies DC power to a load. Accordingly, power supply systems using the foregoing DC converter can reduce the number of transformer therein and thus size reduction of the power supply system can be achieved.

The requesting device may execute the code by a browser or other application, which may cause the requesting device to determine whether a data buffer is empty or nearly empty and request additional content from a streaming server if the data buffer is empty or nearly empty. The process may be repeated a number of times each second for the duration of the playback of the content in order to enable continuous playback of the content regardless of any throttling of the code execution or content playback attempted to be imposed by a browser or other application.

The method comprises fabricating on a substrate a semiconductor structure having a dummy poly gate, dummy interlayer (IL) oxide, and a doped channel. The method further comprises removing the dummy poly gate and the dummy IL oxide to expose the doped channel, removing the doped channel from an area on the substrate, forming an undoped channel for the semiconductor structure at the area on the substrate, and forming a metal gate for the semiconductor structure. Removing the dummy poly gate may comprise dry and wet etch operations. Removing the dummy IL oxide may comprise dry etch operations. Removing the doped channel may comprise anisotropic etch operations on the substrate. Forming an undoped channel may comprise applying an epitaxial process to grow the undoped channel. The method may further comprise growing IL oxide above the undoped channel.
