    Abstract: A solar cell including a quantum dot, an electron conductor, and a rigid bridge molecule disposed between the quantum dot and the electron conductor. The rigid bridge molecule may include a first anchor group that bonds to the quantum dot and a second anchor group that bonds to the electron conductor. The solar cell may include a hole conductor that is configured to reduce the quantum dot once the quantum dot absorbs a photon and ejects an electron through the rigid bridge molecule and into the electron conductor.

    Abstract: A fuel for splitting water into hydrogen and an oxide component comprises a substantially solid pellet formed from a solid-like mixture of a solid-state source material capable of oxidizing in water to form hydrogen and a passivation surface layer of the oxide component, and a passivation preventing agent that is substantially inert to water in an effective amount to prevent passivation of the solid-state material during oxidation. The pellets may be introduced into water or other suitable oxidizer in a controlled rate to control the rate of reaction of the source material with the oxidizer, and thereby control the rate of formation of hydrogen. Methods are described for producing the solid-like mixture in varying weight percent of source material to passivation preventing agent.

    Abstract: A sucker-type suspension structure includes a sucker, a sucker cover, and a suspension hook. The sucker has an outer wall provided with a pull plate which has a distal end formed with a rod passage hole for passage of a pivot rod. The sucker cover is mounted on the outer wall of the sucker, and has a center formed with a plate passage hole for passage of the pull plate of the sucker. The suspension hook has a top formed with a U-shaped plate receiving space for receiving the pull plate of the sucker. The plate receiving space of the suspension hook has two side walls each having a first section formed with a rod passage hole for passage of the pivot rod, and a second section formed with a cover press lug rested on an outer wall of the sucker cover.
