Publication number: 20230230224Abstract: A method for detecting defects in a formed metal part includes locating one or more regions of interest in a synthetic image of a part manufactured by a forming process. The synthetic image is informed based on a physics-based simulation of the forming process. The regions of interest indicate a high risk of having a defect from the forming process. A set of training images including real images of actual manufactured parts are registered with the synthetic image. The regions of interest are overlaid on each training image, to extract patches from the training images that correspond to high-risk regions. An anomaly detection model is trained on the patches extracted from the training images to detect a defect in a formed metal part from an acquired image of the formed metal part, by detecting an anomaly in a patch extracted from the acquired image that corresponds to a high-risk region.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 4, 2023Publication date: July 20, 2023Applicant: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Baris Erol, Jason Dube, Yuan Zi

Patent number: 10950190Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for determining an overdrive mapping correlation in a display panel. The method includes the following steps. First, a repeating subpixel arrangement is determined. The subpixel arrangement includes at least three sets of subpixels in the display panel. An ideal luminance value of a pattern of the subpixel arrangement is then determined. The pattern includes at least a first set of subpixels displaying a zero pixel value, a second set of subpixels displaying a first nonzero pixel value, and a third set of subpixels displaying a second nonzero pixel value, the first, second and third sets of subpixels respectively arranged one after another. The first nonzero pixel value may be different from the second nonzero gray scale value. An actual luminance value of the pattern of the subpixel arrangement is then determined. An overdrive pixel value is further determined.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2019Date of Patent: March 16, 2021Assignee: SHENZHEN YUNYINGGU TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.Inventors: Yaoming Lin, Guoqiang Mei, Yongwen Jiang, Wenguang Yang, Yan Lin, Zhenqiang Ma, Yuan Zi

Patent number: 10825375Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for determining a grayscale mapping correlation in a display panel. The method includes the following operations. First, a target first luminance value of the display panel is determined. A first set of start pixel values of a first attribute of a first grayscale value is determined based on the first grayscale value and the target first luminance value of the display panel. A first set of mapped pixel values of the first attribute mapped to the first grayscale value, and a first mapped luminance value are then determined based on the first set of start pixel values of the first attribute and a set of first target values of a second attribute. The set of first target values of the second attribute include a plurality of target chrominance values and the target first luminance value.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2019Date of Patent: November 3, 2020Assignee: SHENZHEN YUNYINGGU TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.Inventors: Yaoming Lin, Guoqiang Mei, Yongwen Jiang, Wenguang Yang, Yan Lin, Zhenqiang Ma, Yuan Zi
