Abstract: A trans-community search method and apparatus is disclosed. The method includes: receiving a search request from a user and determining online communities used by the user according to user attribute information contained in the search request; generating a sub-search request corresponding to each online community used by the user according to the search request and acquiring a search result corresponding to the sub-search request; combining search results corresponding to all sub-search requests and sending the combined search results to the user. The invention can improve search efficiency for users.

Abstract: It is described an information searching method and device and a computer storage medium, which belong to the field of computers. The method includes that: a keyword for search input by a user is acquired, and user information of the user is acquired as well; and search is performed according to the keyword and the user information to obtain searched-out information that matches the keyword o and is relevant to the user information. The device includes an acquiring module and a searching module. The computer storage medium stores a computer program for executing the method. With the method, it is possible to perform search according to the acquired keyword and the user information to obtain searched-out information that matches the keyword and is relevant to the user information. The information obtained with the searching method described herein is highly relevant to the user, thereby enhancing the relevance between the searched-out information and the user.
