Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for automatically turned off video playing, including the steps of monitoring whether there is a viewer before a screen during the playing of a video file; if monitoring that there is no viewer before the screen within a first time threshold, then pausing the now-playing video file playing; and determining whether the paused video file is resumed to play within a second time threshold; if yes, continuing to monitor whether there is a viewer before the screen; if no, turning off the video playing. Thereby, method and apparatus for automatically turned off video playing settled a problem of the video playing continues to play a media playing application when the viewer unconsciously falls asleep.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device for implementing a video application, the method including the steps of acquiring an instruction of clicking on a video search page in the video application; monitoring the light intensity before screen within a predetermined time and calculating the brightness value of the video search page based on the average light intensity within the predetermined time; and setting the brightness value of the video search page and displaying the video search page based on the obtained brightness value. Therefore, the method and device for implementing a video application overcome the problem of a dazzling feeling and discomfort for users when they open the video application and search in a video search page.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for sharing a video clip and electronic device, the method comprising the steps of after receiving a video sharing trigger instruction, acquiring a playing starting time point and a playing ending time point of a video file to be shared; capturing a video clip from the video file based on the acquired playing start time point and playing end time point to generate a video clip file; and sending the video clip file to a target user.

Abstract: This application discloses a method and electronic device for video playing, and relates to the field of video analysis technology, wherein the method for video playing comprises the following steps: determining whether a current frame comprises marker information with respect to a target object in a video playing process; highlighting brief information of the target object in the current frame when the current frame comprises the marker information with respect to the target object; determining whether a request for displaying detailed information of the target object is received; and displaying the detailed information of the target object when the request for displaying the detailed information of the target object is received. This application has achieved the effect of displaying the contents of marker information in a video playing process, thereby greatly facilitating a user to search information appearing in the video and improving the convenience.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a device for playing a video, wherein the method specifically comprises detecting a display status of a screen in a process of playing a video file, and stopping decoding and playing video data in the video file and continuing to decode and play audio data in the video file upon detecting a change of the display status of the screen from on to off.
