Abstract: A method for charging a battery, which includes the steps of acquiring real-time information about the battery; receiving on-site input from a user, the on-site input comprising at least one of a user available time in which the battery is to be charged and a target State of Charge (SoC) to which the battery is to be charged; by using a capacity charging model of the battery, calculating a charging current for the battery based on the on-site input and the real-time information; charging the battery using the calculated charging current during a charging period to fulfill the user's energy requirement; and calibrating the capacity charging model based on information of the battery gathered during the charging period. The invention provides an adaptive battery charging method and system that decides an optimal charging current for batteries in view of on-site user commands inputted to the battery charger.

Abstract: A biomass combustion system for ceramic roller kiln, including a roller kiln including a preheating section, a combustion section and a cooling section; a biomass gasifier with a feed port, a first gas inlet, a second gas inlet and an gas outlet; a fuel manifold; and a pentane gasification device connected to the fuel manifold. The biomass or biomass waste is fed through the feed port. The gas outlet is connected to the fuel manifold through a heat exchanger. The premixer is configured to mix part of the hot air discharged from the cooling section with a mixture of biomass gas and gaseous pentane transported by the fuel manifold to obtain an air-fuel mixture, and distribute the mixture to the combustion section through burners. A biomass combustion process is also provided.

Abstract: A method of patterning a film, a display device and a method for preparing the same. The method of patterning a film includes preparing a magnetic substrate by forming a magnetic material pattern within a flexible substrate; disposing a film to be processed and a first rigid substrate opposite to and spaced apart from each other, and placing the magnetic substrate against a surface of the film to be processed at a side thereof facing away from the first rigid substrate; pushing a portion of the film to be processed corresponding to the magnetic material pattern to project towards and to attach onto the first rigid substrate, by the magnetic material pattern via a magnetic effect of a magnetic force of a magnetic field which is applied onto the magnetic substrate; and forming a patterned film on the first rigid substrate.

Abstract: A method for patterning a quantum dot layer, a method for manufacturing a display device and a transfer template are provided in embodiments of the disclosure; the method for patterning a quantum dot layer, comprising: preparing a quantum dot layer on a substrate, the quantum dot layer comprising a reserved portion and a portion to be removed; bonding the portion to be removed with a plurality of convex portions provided on a transfer template, by pressing the transfer template against the quantum dot layer; and removing the portion to be removed with a removal of the transfer template, while retaining the reserved portion on the substrate.
