Abstract: An aneurysm occlusion device (10), a therapeutic apparatus for aneurysm occlusion and an aneurysm occlusion system. The aneurysm occlusion device (10) includes an expandable mesh structure (11) and a guide structure (12). The expandable mesh structure (11) has an expanded configuration, in which it assumes a spiral shape spiraling from a distal end (111) to a proximal end (112) thereof, and a collapsed configuration for its delivery into an aneurysm (30) from a blood vessel. At least a portion of the guide structure (12) is disposed in an inner cavity defined by the expandable mesh structure (11) and, when the expandable mesh structure (11) is in the spiral shape, expands into a spiral shape in the inner cavity of the expandable mesh structure (11).

  • Publication number: 20230320733
Abstract: An aneurysm occlusion device (10), a therapeutic apparatus for aneurysm occlusion and an aneurysm occlusion system. The aneurysm occlusion device (10) includes an expandable structure (11) and a guide structure (12). The expandable structure (11) is a three-dimensional mesh. The expandable structure (11) has an expanded configuration, in which the expandable structure forms a spiral shape by spiraling from a distal end (111) to a proximal end (112) thereof, and a collapsed configuration for delivery into an aneurysm (30) from a blood vessel. The guide structure (12) is provided at the distal end (111) of the expandable structure (11). The proximal end (121) of the guide structure (12) is connected to the distal end (111) of the expandable structure (11).

  • Publication number: 20230310004
Abstract: An aneurysm occlusion device (10), a therapeutic apparatus for aneurysm occlusion and an aneurysm occlusion system are disclosed. The aneurysm occlusion device (10) includes at least an expandable mesh structure (11) having an expanded configuration with a planar spiral shape and a compressed configuration for delivery into an aneurysm (30) from a blood vessel. The expandable mesh structure (11) can be compressed within a catheter (40) and can recover the expanded configuration with the spiral shape after being released from the catheter (40). The aneurysm occlusion device (10) achieves stable, compliant packing while providing the advantages of among others, avoiding rupture of the aneurysm (30), preventing thrombosis in a blood vessel, increasing coverage of an opening at the aneurysm neck, promoting thrombosis in the aneurysm and accelerating embolization of the aneurysm (30).

  • Publication number: 20230277188
Abstract: An end structure of a push rod for a guglielmi detachable coil, detachment systems thereof, and an embolization system are disclosed. The end structure includes at least one metal wire, at least one first conductive tube, at least one insulator and at least one second conductive tube. The at least one insulator is connected to both the first conductive tube and the second conductive tube and configured to electrically insulate the first conductive tube from the second conductive tube. One end of the at least one metal wire is electrically connected to the at least one second conductive tube. The first conductive tube and the second conductive tube are coaxially assembled into an integral structure, which can be inserted into an electrolytic device, resulting in the formation of an electrical circuit. In this way, operation to be performed by a physician can be simplified, and a coil can be detached within a short period of time, resulting in increased surgical efficiency.

  • Patent number: 11172934
Abstract: An embolic coil conveying device and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. The embolic coil conveying device includes a pusher and an embolic coil. A distal end of the pusher and a proximal end of the embolic coil are connected to serve as a detachment section. A stretch-resistant thread is disposed in the embolic coil. The stretch-resistant thread is fixed at the proximal end of the embolic coil. A conductive wire is disposed in the pusher. The stretch-resistant thread is connected to the conductive wire. Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the advantages that the stretch-resistant thread is fixed at the proximal end of the embolic coil, so that the stretch-resistant thread is connected to the conductive wire, thereby reducing the length of the detachment section, making the detachment section more flexible, and avoiding kick-out of a microcatheter due to release of the embolic coil.

  • Publication number: 20210338243
Abstract: An electrolytic detachment mechanism and an electrolytic detachment device are disclosed. The electrolytic detachment mechanism is intended for cooperation with an electrolytic detachment apparatus to achieve an electrolytic detachment of an implant. The electrolytic detachment mechanism includes the implant, a detachment member (103), an electrical conduction member (101) and an absorption member (102). When absorbing electrolytes, the absorption member (102) will maintain electrical conduction between the detachment member (103) and a cathodic conductive element, thus resulting in enhanced electrolytic detachment reliability and overcoming the problems of a long detachment time and required multiple detachment attempts associated with existing electrolytic detachment devices.

  • Publication number: 20210338249
Abstract: An embolization device and a coil thereof (10, 20, 30) are disclosed. The coil (10, 20, 30) is formed by joining together at least four structural elements arranged in different planes, which include at least two C-shaped elements (12) and at least one O-shaped element (13) or ?-shaped (11) element. The at least two C-shaped elements (12) are arranged in two adjacent planes and are sequentially joined together to form an S-shaped structure. The embolization device preferably includes plurality of coils (10, 20, 30) which are joined together side-by-side and end-to-end, wherein in any adjacent two coils (10, 20, 30), one is swivelable about an axis of the embolization device with respect to the other. The ?-shaped element is structurally stable, allowing the coil (10, 20, 30) to maintain good structural stability. At the same time, the three-dimensional S-shaped structure has good deflectability, which imparts high compliance to the coil (10, 20, 30).
