  • Patent number: 11913003
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of improving soybean transformation efficiency, which comprises: transforming a plant cell using a recombinant vector containing a gene of interest and a gene encoding a sulfonylurea herbicide hydrolase; screening and culturing the transformed plant cell by external application of an ALS inhibitor, using the gene encoding the sulfonylurea herbicide hydrolase as a selective marker; selecting a plant cell that has not been killed and/or not been inhibited.

  • Patent number: 8488013
Abstract: A system enables secure, safe remote access and control of stand-alone medical imaging systems whilst maintaining physical separation and independence from the medical imaging systems, to prevent medical system infection by a software virus and data corruption. A system provides remote control and interaction with a medical imaging system and includes a transmitter. The transmitter wirelessly transmits command signals via a first secure communication link to a receiver unit coupled to a medical imaging system. The command signals enable control of the medical imaging system from a remote location. At least one computer receives video data from a camera located near the medical imaging system and monitors medical images and associated data presented on a display of the medical imaging system in response to command signals wirelessly communicated to the receiver unit. A monitor presents the received video data to a user.

  • Patent number: 8204289
Abstract: A system identifies a particular image associated with a particular cardiac characteristic from within a sequence of cardiac images including image noise artifacts and obtained over a heart beat cycle. The system comprises at least one repository including, first data comprising heart cycle information derived from ECG data, second data comprising data representing multiple images acquired over at least one heart cycle and third data comprising data associated with timing of contrast agent flow. An image data processor identifies a particular image exhibiting a particular cardiac characteristic from within a sequence of cardiac images by processing the first, second and third data to identify an image having a substantially maximum likelihood of exhibiting the particular cardiac characteristic. A storage processor retrieves data representing the particular image from storage.

  • Patent number: 8144957
Abstract: An anatomical feature boundary identification system for use in processing medical images including X-ray images having a substantial noise content, employs at least one repository. The at least one repository stores data representing multiple different candidate template boundary shapes for individual particular anatomical features of multiple different types of anatomical features. A computation processor coupled to the at least one repository, determines a converged boundary shape of a particular anatomical feature by iteratively substantially minimizing a first difference between, data representing a weighted combination of multiple different candidate template boundary shapes of a particular anatomical feature and data representing a boundary shape of the particular anatomical feature derived from image data of the particular anatomical feature.

  • Publication number: 20110105931
Abstract: A system uses integrated spatio-temporal analysis in X-ray angiography, for example, by using spatial information within each image frame and temporal information between image frames to provide robust and accurate estimation of stroke area and volume, two and three dimensional ejection fraction and to accommodate patient heart variation. A system determines patient heart related parameters for use in patient heart imaging examination. An image data processor processes data representing multiple cardiac images of a patient over multiple heart beat cycles of the patient to derive data representing a distribution curve of a heart section area over multiple heart beat cycle times and indicating heart section area change over a heart beat cycle. An area processor determines a heart section area in response to user command. Also a computation processor determines a heart function parameter in response to the determined heart section area and the indicated heart section area change.
